Is the graffiti workshop safe for all ages and skill levels?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective overalls for all participants. Our paint is professional-grade but used in a controlled environment under the guidance of expert artists. Whether you are hosting your event near the Aura River or at a private Turku venue, we ensure the space remains clean and everyone stays protected while they create their masterpieces.

What happens if it rains or an artist is unavailable?

If your charity event is outdoors and the Finnish weather decides to be 'fickle', don't worry! We have backup plans involving marquees or can pivot to high-quality indoor canvases if the venue allows. Additionally, we have a pool of backup artists available, so even if an instructor falls ill, your Turku fundraiser will go ahead exactly as planned. We never leave a charity in the lurch!

Do we need to pay anything upfront to book?

No! One of the best things about booking with Graffitifun is our 'trust-first' approach. You don't need to pay anything upfront to secure your date. We believe in the quality of our service and the importance of your cause. You only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied with the creative impact we've made at your event.

What is the ideal group size for a charity workshop?

We are very flexible. While we love working with groups of 10 to 30, we can easily scale up for large-scale Turku community festivals or down for intimate VIP donor sessions. For very large crowds, we often set up 'drop-in' stations where hundreds of people can add a single spray-stroke to a massive collaborative mural throughout the day.

Can you host the workshop at a venue of our choice in Turku?

While we have our own preferred spots and mobile setups, we are happy to come to you! Whether you've rented a hall in Kupittaa or have a courtyard in the city centre, we can make it work. We just need a well-ventilated space and permission from the property owner. We handle all the floor protection and cleanup, so the venue stays pristine.

How long does a typical graffiti fundraiser session last?

A standard impactful charity session usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives participants enough time to learn the basic techniques, practice their 'tag', and contribute to the final masterpiece. If you're running a full-day fundraiser, we can also provide a rotating schedule so different groups of donors can participate at different times.

What materials do we need to provide?

Everything is included in our price. We bring the professional spray paint (in a huge range of vibrant colours), protective gear, specialized graffiti caps, and the 'canvases' (which could be boards, a wall, or even items to be auctioned). You just need to bring your enthusiasm and some old clothes—though we do provide overalls to keep you as clean as possible!

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Turku is a city where history meets a vibrant, modern underground scene. While you might first think of the medieval Turku Castle or the historic Cathedral, the city’s contemporary pulse beats strongest along the Aura River and within the creative hubs of Logomo. Turku has a growing appreciation for urban art, moving from the shadows into the spotlight with various legal walls and street art projects that brighten up the urban landscape. 🏰 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that the 'Barker Wall' in Turku is one of Finland's most legendary legal graffiti spots? It has been a canvas for local artists for decades, proving that Turku has street art in its DNA!

Hosting your fundraiser here allows you to tap into that local 'Åbo' pride. We can even incorporate local symbols—like the iconic Föri ferry or the Turku skyline—into your charity mural to give it that authentic local touch that resonates with residents. 🔥

Pricing

We believe high-impact charity work should be accessible. Our workshop pricing is transparent, and most importantly, we don't ask for a single Euro until the job is done!

Estimated cost: €30 - €65 per person.
Factors: Price varies based on the number of participants, the amount of paint required, and the size of the final mural.

Because every fundraiser is unique—especially those with a charitable focus—we offer bespoke packages to help you maximize your ROI for your cause. 💸
