Is the graffiti workshop wheelchair accessible?

Absolutely! Our Turku graffiti workshops are designed with accessibility at the forefront. We select locations that are wheelchair accessible and ensure there is plenty of space for everyone to move comfortably. When you book, just let us know about any specific mobility requirements so we can ensure the spray-painting area is set up perfectly for your group's needs. We want everyone to feel welcome and included.

How do you ensure safety during the workshop?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective masks, gloves, and overalls to all participants. Our professional artists are trained to supervise groups with diverse needs, ensuring that spray cans are used correctly and safely. We also use low-odour paints where possible and ensure the environment is well-ventilated so that everyone can enjoy the creative process without any worries or stress.

Can you accommodate participants with sensory sensitivities?

We understand that some participants may have sensory sensitivities. Our Turku artists are very flexible; we can keep music levels low, provide a 'quiet zone' for breaks, and use paint that has a less intense smell. Because graffiti is a tactile and visual medium, it’s often a fantastic outlet for those who prefer non-verbal communication. Just tell us about your group's specific triggers, and we will adapt accordingly.

How long does a typical session last?

Typically, our special needs graffiti programs in Turku last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This timeframe is usually perfect for maintaining engagement without causing fatigue. However, we are happy to adjust the pace of the workshop to suit your group. If you need a shorter, high-energy session or a longer, more relaxed experience with frequent breaks, we can certainly make that happen for you!

Do participants need any prior art skills?

No experience is needed at all! Our workshops are all about 'having a go' and expressing yourself. Our Turku street artists are experts at breaking down the basics into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Whether a participant is a natural-born artist or has never held a spray can before, we guarantee they will create something they are proud of by the end of the session.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need! This includes a wide range of colourful spray cans, protective gear (overalls, gloves, masks), and the canvases or boards you’ll be painting on. You don't need to bring any supplies. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and old shoes, just in case a little bit of 'art' ends up somewhere it shouldn't! We take care of all the setup and cleanup.

How much does a special needs graffiti workshop cost?

Pricing in Turku typically ranges from €30 to €65 per person, depending on the number of participants and the specific setup required. We aim to keep our workshops accessible and provide the best value for money. Because every special needs group has unique requirements, we recommend requesting a custom quote so we can provide an accurate price tailored specifically to your group size and needs.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Turku, Finland's oldest city, is a place where history meets modern creativity. While the stunning Turku Castle and the Aura River define the city's skyline, there is a thriving underground art scene that we love to explore. Street art in Turku is all about community and storytelling, making it the perfect backdrop for an inclusive workshop. We often hold our sessions in vibrant, accessible locations that capture the spirit of the 'Åbo' lifestyle. 🏰

Fun Fact: Did you know that Turku is home to several legal graffiti walls where local artists regularly refresh the city's look? This "open gallery" vibe makes Turku one of the most welcoming cities in Finland for aspiring street artists! ✨

From the bustling market square to the artistic vibes of the University area, Turku is a city that celebrates diversity. Our workshops aim to add to that colourful tapestry, giving people of all abilities the chance to contribute to Finland's urban culture in a meaningful and fun way.

Pricing
