What exactly is live painting at an event?

Live painting is a dynamic performance where our artist creates a large-scale piece of art from scratch during your event. In Bydgoszcz, this usually involves a large canvas or a temporary wall. It provides a focal point for guests, offering them the chance to see the creative process unfold in real-time, which is much more engaging than a static decoration.

Is the paint safe for indoor events in Bydgoszcz?

We take safety and cleanliness very seriously. We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paints and set up protective floor coverings and screens if necessary. For indoor events in Bydgoszcz, we can also use water-based markers or odourless paints to ensure your guests remain comfortable while enjoying the artistic transformation of the venue space.

Can we choose the theme of the artwork?

Absolutely! While the artist brings their creative flair, the core theme, colours, and any specific logos or messages are decided by you. Whether you want something that reflects Bydgoszcz's riverside charm or a corporate branding piece, we work closely with you during the planning phase to ensure the final artwork aligns perfectly with your vision.

How long does a live painting performance take?

Most live painting sessions in Bydgoszcz last between 2 and 4 hours, depending on the complexity of the design and the duration of your event. We can pace the performance to hit a 'grand reveal' during a keynote or at the climax of a party, ensuring the timing fits your schedule perfectly.

What happens to the mural after the event ends?

Once the paint is dry, the artwork is yours to keep! Many of our Bydgoszcz clients choose to display the finished canvas in their office lobby, staff room, or even auction it off for charity. It serves as a lasting memento of a fantastic event and a unique piece of custom decor for your permanent space.

What do we need to provide for the artist?

We are fully self-sufficient. We bring the paints, caps, protective gear, and the canvas or boards. All we typically need from you at the Bydgoszcz venue is a flat area to work on and decent lighting. If we are working outdoors, a tent or cover in case of typical Kuyavian-Pomeranian rain is always appreciated!

How much does live painting in Bydgoszcz cost?

The cost varies based on several factors including the duration of the event, the size of the canvas, and the complexity of the design. In Bydgoszcz, prices generally range between zł100 and zł220 per person if it's an interactive session, or a flat fee for a pure performance. It is always best to request a custom quote for accuracy.

Interactive entertainment: Guests love watching the progress and interacting with the artist throughout the session.
Brand visibility: We can seamlessly integrate your brand colours and logos into the artwork for maximum impact.

Step by step

Initial consultation: You tell us about your Bydgoszcz event, the vibe you're going for, and any specific themes or branding you need included.
Design phase: Our artist creates a rough sketch or concept board for your approval, ensuring the colour palette matches your event’s aesthetic.
Logistical setup: We arrive early at your Bydgoszcz venue to set up the 'stage' – this includes floor protection, the canvas, and our professional kit.
The performance: As your guests arrive, the artist begins the outline. We engage with the crowd, answering questions and explaining the techniques.
Layering & detail: Watch the piece come to life as layers of colour and fine details are added, creating a high-impact visual experience.
Final reveal: The artwork is completed towards the end of the event, often resulting in a fantastic photo opportunity for all your attendees.
Post-event wrap-up: We clean up the area completely and help you arrange how to transport or store your new custom masterpiece.

Local culture

Bydgoszcz is a city that literally flows with creativity, much like the Brda river that snakes through its centre. From the historic granaries to the modern vibes of the Opera Nova, the city has always appreciated the intersection of tradition and modern flair. Our live painting services fit perfectly into this Bydgoszcz "Venice of the North" aesthetic, adding a contemporary, urban edge to the local cultural scene.

The street art scene here is growing, and by bringing a live performance to your event, you're tapping into that local energy. Whether your event is inspired by the industrial heritage of the Bydgoszcz Canal or the sleek lines of the city's new architecture, our artists can weave these local elements into their work, making the art feel truly 'made in Bydgoszcz'.
