What happens if it is too hot or raining in Merida?

Merida is famous for its heat, so we often host these networking events in the late afternoon or early evening. We utilise airy, well ventilated spaces or outdoor courtyards with plenty of shade. Our team ensures there is a comfortable flow between the creative stations and the social areas, allowing you to stay cool while things get creative. If the weather turns, we always have a solid indoor backup plan ready to go.

Do I need any previous artistic experience to join?

Absolutely not! This event is designed for everyone, from people who cannot draw a stick figure to undercover artists. Our professional graffiti coaches guide you through the process, showing you how to handle the spray cans and create cool effects. The focus is on the shared experience and making connections with other professionals, so there is no pressure to be the next Banksy. Just bring your enthusiasm and we will handle the rest.

Is the spray paint safe and how do you handle protection?

We take safety very seriously in all our Merida workshops. We provide high quality FFP2 or FFP3 masks to ensure no one breathes in fumes, along with gloves and protective suits to keep your professional attire clean. Our spray paints are selected for their quality and we always work in areas with excellent airflow. Our lead artists are also trained to manage groups safely while keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed.

What is the ideal group size for a creative networking event?

Our networking events are incredibly flexible. We can accommodate small niche groups of 10 people or massive corporate gatherings of over 200 participants. For larger groups in Merida, we simply bring in more of our professional backup artists to ensure everyone gets enough attention and hands on time with the spray cans. We scale the amount of materials and equipment to perfectly match your specific guest list size.

Can we customise the graffiti theme to match our company branding?

Yes, we love making the event feel personal to your brand or industry. We can pre-sketch your company logo, a specific industry themed mural, or even use your brand colours for the paint selection. This makes the final artwork a true reflection of your team or the goal of your networking session. Just let us know your requirements during the booking process and our Merida based design team will make it happen.

What makes Graffitifun different from other event organisers?

Unlike many other providers, we do not require any upfront payment to secure your date in Merida. You only pay after the workshop is completed and you are happy with the results. We also have a dedicated pool of backup artists, so even if an instructor falls ill, your event will proceed as planned. This professional approach ensures your high stakes networking event goes off without a single hitch.

Local culture

Merida is a city where traditional Mayan heritage meets a booming contemporary art scene. Known as the White City, its colonial architecture provides a stunning contrast to the colourful street art popping up in barrios like Santa Ana and Santiago. By hosting your networking event here, you are tapping into a local culture that values community and creative expression. The city's relaxed pace of life, often called the Merida vibe, is the perfect antidote to corporate burnout, making it much easier for your guests to open up and connect on a human level.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Merida has been named the American Capital of Culture twice? It is the only city to receive this prestigious title twice, making it the perfect spot for an art-driven professional event! 🎨

Pricing
