How long does a live painting session usually last?

Our live painting sessions usually last between two and four hours, depending on the scale of the artwork and your event timeline. We can speed things up for a high energy performance or take our time for more intricate detail. If you have a specific schedule in mind for your Merida gathering, we can easily sync our spray cans to your itinerary. We are flexible and ready to adapt!

Will the spray paint smell or create a mess at my venue?

Not at all! We use low odour, professional grade spray paints and can set up ventilation or work in outdoor spaces to ensure the air stays fresh. We also use high quality drop cloths and protective screens to make sure the paint only goes on the canvas and not on your venue floor. Safety and cleanliness are just as important to us as the art itself.

Can my guests join in and help paint the mural?

While we love when guests get inspired, live painting is primarily a performance by our professional artists. However, we can definitely set up a side 'tag wall' where your guests can try their hand at graffiti under our guidance. It is the perfect way to combine a professional show with a bit of hands on creative fun for everyone involved!

Can we choose the theme or design of the artwork?

Absolutely! We love weaving your personal story or brand identity into the piece. Before the event, we will chat about your vision, colour preferences, and any specific symbols or logos you want included. Our artists then create a custom concept that fits the vibe of your Merida event perfectly. You get a unique piece of art tailored just for you.

What happens if it rains or the artist is unwell?

Weather in Merida can be unpredictable, so we always have a backup plan. If your event is outdoors and it starts to rain, we can usually move the setup under a marquee or into an indoor space. Because we have a large team of backup artists, we also guarantee that someone will always be there to perform, so you never have to worry about a cancellation.

What happens to the artwork after the event ends?

You have total flexibility. Once the paint is dry, the artwork is yours to keep! Many of our clients choose to display the finished canvas in their office, home, or even auction it off for charity. If you do not have space for it, we can discuss disposal or recycling options, but most people find it is a fantastic souvenir of a great day.

Local culture

Merida is a city where tradition meets modern creativity. From the colonial charm of the Centro Histórico to the bustling energy of North Merida, there is an artistic spirit everywhere you look. We love the local street art scene here, which often blends ancient Mayan motifs with contemporary graffiti styles. Our live painting performances pay homage to this unique cultural mix, bringing that local "White City" soul into every spray stroke. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Merida was named the American Capital of Culture twice? It is the perfect backdrop for a high energy art performance that celebrates creativity and community. ✨

Pricing

Every event in Merida is unique, so we do not have a one size fits all price list. Prices depend on group size, duration, and the specific setup you need for your venue. The best part? You do not have to pay anything upfront: pay only after the workshop or performance!
