What exactly happens during a live painting session?

A live painting performance in Leon is a dynamic artistic show. Our professional artist arrives at your venue, sets up a large canvas or temporary wall, and creates a full scale graffiti masterpiece from scratch while your guests watch. It is interactive, visually stunning, and provides a continuous talking point throughout your event. The final artwork is yours to keep, serving as a permanent memory of the day.

What materials do I need to provide for the artist?

We handle almost everything for you. Our team brings the professional spray paint, protective floor coverings, the canvas or wooden panels, and safety gear. All we need from you is an accessible space of at least three by three metres and a bit of ventilation if we are indoors. We focus on a hassle free setup so you can focus on enjoying your party or corporate event.

Is live graffiti painting safe to do indoors in Leon?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low odour, professional grade spray paints. When working indoors, we use specialised floor and wall coverings to ensure no overspray touches your venue. We also provide ventilation advice and use high quality masks for the artist. Our team has years of experience working in diverse Leon venues, from hotels to warehouse spaces, ensuring a clean and safe environment.

How long does a live painting performance typically take?

The duration is entirely flexible to match your schedule. Most live painting performances in Leon last between two and four hours. For larger festivals or multi day brand activations, we can extend the performance over several sessions. We always time the completion of the artwork to coincide with the climax of your event, ensuring maximum impact for your guests and photographers.

Can we choose the theme or design of the mural?

Absolutely! Before the event starts, we collaborate with you to decide on the theme, colour palette, and specific elements like logos or slogans. Whether you want a modern abstract piece or a detailed representation of Leon landmarks, our artists will tailor their style to your vision. The result is a unique piece of street art that perfectly aligns with your brand or personal style.

Is there a way for guests to participate in the painting?

While the main performance is done by our professional artist to ensure a high quality result, we love getting the crowd involved. We can set up a smaller "side canvas" where guests can try out a few spray cans under our guidance. This adds an extra layer of engagement and makes your Leon event even more memorable for everyone who attends. It is a fantastic icebreaker!

How do you incorporate the local Leon vibe into the art?

Leon is a city with a rich industrial and cultural history, and we love reflecting that. Our artists can incorporate local elements, from the famous leather craft motifs to the iconic architecture of the Expiatorio. We aim to create a piece of art that feels like it belongs in the heart of Mexico, blending global street art techniques with local Leon soul and energy.

Local culture

Leon is a city that prides itself on craftsmanship and leatherwork, but there is a growing, vibrant street art scene hidden in its neighbourhoods. Our live painting sessions tap into this local creative energy, bringing that urban Leon spirit to your private events. We love the contrast between the traditional architecture of the city and the bold, modern strokes of a spray can. It is about celebrating the evolution of Leon through contemporary art.

Fun fact: Leon is home to several massive urban art projects that have transformed industrial walls into colourful landmarks, proving that this city is much more than just the leather capital of the world! 🎨
