Will the kids get paint on their nice communion clothes?

Not at all. We provide all the gear needed for a clean and safe experience. This includes professional protective suits, gloves, and high quality masks. We also use drop cloths to protect the flooring of your venue in Leon. Your kids get to enjoy the messy fun of spray painting while their communion outfits stay perfectly pristine. It is the best of both worlds for a stress free celebration.

Is the spray paint safe for children to use?

Safety is our biggest priority. We use high quality spray paint and provide all participants with professional grade masks and gloves. Our artists are experienced in managing groups of children and ensure that everyone follows safety protocols while having a blast. We also choose well ventilated areas for the activity to ensure the air stays fresh and clear throughout the entire creative process.

Do we need a specific type of venue in Leon for this?

While we can work indoors if the ventilation is excellent and the ceilings are high, we generally recommend outdoor spaces for the best experience. A garden, patio, or a rented open air event space in Leon works perfectly. If you are unsure about your venue, just let us know. We can usually find a creative solution or help you determine if the space is suitable for spray painting.

How long does the graffiti workshop actually last?

Our standard communion workshops usually last between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of time to learn the basic techniques, practice some strokes, and complete a final masterpiece. We can also adjust the timing to fit into your specific party schedule, ensuring the transition from dinner to dancing is seamless and full of creative energy.

What if some of the children have never painted before?

Absolutely. We believe everyone should have the chance to be an artist. Our professional graffiti instructors are experts at guiding children of all skill levels. We use stencils and simple techniques that allow even the youngest guests or those who claim they cannot draw to create something they are truly proud of. It is all about building confidence and having a great time together.

What happens to the artwork after the party is over?

The canvas size can be adjusted based on your preference and the number of guests. Usually, we work on large communal canvases or individual boards that the children can take home as a unique souvenir of the day. Some families in Leon even choose to have the kids work on one giant piece of art that the guest of honour keeps as a memory of their special communion.

No stress for you: We handle the setup, the instruction, and the cleanup, so you can focus on your guests. 🏆

Step by step

Pick your date: Check your communion schedule and get in touch with us to reserve your preferred time slot in Leon.
Choose your theme: Tell us what the guest of honour loves, whether it is specific colours, their name, or a hobby, so we can prep the design.
Gear up for fun: On the day, our artists arrive at your Leon venue and set up the protective gear and materials for everyone.
Learn the basics: We start with a quick intro on how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create different spray effects.
Practice session: The kids get some hands on practice on a test wall to get comfortable with the spray cans before starting the main piece.
Create the masterpiece: Under the guidance of our pros, the children work together or individually to bring the graffiti art to life.
Final flourishes: We help with the outlines and highlights to make sure the final result looks like a professional piece of street art.
Photo op: Once the paint is dry, we grab the whole group for photos in front of their new creation to capture the memory forever.

Local culture

Leon is a city with a deep appreciation for craftsmanship and visual beauty. From the intricate leatherwork found in the Zona Piel to the stunning Gothic architecture of the Expiatory Temple, creativity is in the DNA of this city. By bringing a graffiti workshop to your communion party, you are tapping into that local spirit of making things with your own hands. The street art scene in Mexico is legendary, and Leon is no exception, with local murals often telling stories of history and modern life. Fun fact: Leon is known as the "Leather Capital of the World," but it is also becoming a hidden gem for contemporary urban art! We love bringing that artistic spark to local family events, helping the next generation of Leon creatives find their voice through the medium of spray paint.
