Do I need any previous art experience to join the workshop?

Absolutely not. Our creative retreat workshops in Leon are designed for all skill levels, from absolute beginners to seasoned creators. Our professional artists guide you through every stage, from basic can control to advanced layering techniques. You will be amazed at what you can achieve in just one session. We focus on the joy of creation rather than technical perfection, ensuring everyone leaves with a sense of pride.

What should I wear for the graffiti retreat?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you do not mind getting a bit of paint on. While we provide high quality protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can be messy and stray spray mist sometimes travels. Choose footwear that is comfortable for standing and moving around. If we are working outdoors, consider the Leon weather and bring a hat or sunblock to stay comfortable while you create your masterpiece.

Is the spray paint safe to use for everyone?

The safety of our participants is our absolute priority. We provide professional grade masks and gloves for everyone. The spray paints we use are high quality and we typically host our sessions in well ventilated areas or outdoors to ensure plenty of fresh air. Our instructors provide a full safety briefing before anyone touches a can, explaining how to handle the equipment properly to ensure a fun and risk free experience.

How long does a typical creative session last?

Most of our retreat workshops in Leon last between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the history of street art, practice basic techniques on a practice wall, and then complete a final large scale project. If you have specific time constraints or want a longer, more intensive retreat experience, we can easily customise the schedule to fit your group plans.

Where in Leon do these workshops actually take place?

We are very flexible with locations. We have dedicated street art spots in Leon where we host workshops, but we can also bring the retreat to you. If your hotel, villa, or corporate venue has a suitable outdoor space or a well ventilated indoor area, we can set up our mobile graffiti walls and bring the entire creative experience directly to your doorstep.

What is the booking and payment process?

We believe in a stress free booking process for your retreat. You do not need to make any upfront payments to secure your session. You can pay after the workshop is completed, which ensures you are 100 percent satisfied with the experience. We also have a network of backup artists ready to step in, so you never have to worry about a last minute cancellation ruining your plans.

Local culture

Leon is a city that pulsates with energy, known worldwide for its leather craftsmanship and the spectacular International Balloon Festival. But beyond the leather shops and the skies full of balloons, there is a thriving urban art scene waiting to be explored. Walking through the streets of Leon, you will find impressive murals that celebrate local heritage and contemporary Mexican life. This city provides the perfect "vibe" for a creative retreat, blending traditional Mexican warmth with a modern, edgy street art spirit.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Leon is often called the Shoe Capital of the World? The same precision and artistry used by local leather workers for generations are now finding a new outlet on the city walls through stunning street art.

Our workshops tap into this local creative energy, allowing you to contribute to the city's artistic narrative. We often host sessions near vibrant neighbourhoods where the local street art provides instant inspiration for your own work. It is a fantastic way to connect with the authentic soul of Leon while creating something entirely your own. ✨
