Do I need any previous art experience to join the 3D workshop?

Absolutely not! Our Leon artists are experts at teaching people who have never even touched a spray can before. We start with the absolute basics of handle control and line work before moving into the 3D optical illusions. Our goal is to make sure you feel confident and creative by the time you start your main piece. It is all about having fun and trying something new in a supportive environment.

What materials are included in the 3D street art package?

We provide everything you need to create a masterpiece. This includes high quality spray paint in a huge range of colours, professional grade masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes clean. We also supply the canvases or boards we will be working on. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and perhaps a bottle of water to stay hydrated while you work under the Mexican sun.

Is the workshop safe and are masks provided?

Safety is our number one priority during every session in Leon. We provide all participants with high quality respiratory masks to filter out fumes and protective gear to keep skin clear of paint. Our workshops usually take place in well ventilated outdoor or semi outdoor spaces to ensure constant fresh air. Our professional artists also give a full safety briefing before any paint is sprayed to ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly.

How long does a typical session in Leon last?

A standard 3D street art experience usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the history of graffiti, practice basic spray techniques, learn the theory of 3D shadows and perspective, and then complete a final collective or individual piece. If you have a specific schedule or time limit for a corporate event or party, we can often adjust the duration to suit your needs.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

Leon can get quite sunny, but we have you covered. Most of our locations have shaded areas or we set up marquees to keep you cool while you paint. In the event of heavy rain, we have indoor backup locations or can rearrange the session. Because we have a large team of backup artists, we almost never have to cancel a session due to staff illness, giving you total peace of mind for your booking.

Can you accommodate large groups or corporate teams?

We love hosting large groups! Our 3D workshop is a fantastic choice for school trips, large corporate team building events, or big family celebrations. For larger groups, we simply bring in more professional artists to ensure everyone gets enough individual attention and guidance. We can scale the experience to accommodate dozens of people at once while maintaining the high quality and fun atmosphere we are known for.

Do I need to pay for the entire workshop upfront?

Unlike many other workshop providers, we do not require you to pay everything upfront when you book. We believe in the quality of our service and want you to feel completely comfortable. You can settle the payment after the workshop is finished. This makes the booking process stress free and ensures you are 100 percent happy with the creative experience our team delivers in Leon.

The 3D concept: Learn the secrets of perspective and how to make a flat image look like it is popping out of the wall or floor.
Safety briefing: Put on your protective gear and learn how to handle the spray cans and nozzles safely and effectively.
Mastering the lines: Start with basic exercises to get a feel for pressure, distance, and speed to create clean, sharp lines.
Sketching the illusion: Move onto your surface and begin mapping out the 3D shapes using special sketching techniques taught by our artists.
Adding depth: This is where the magic happens! Use shading, highlights, and drop shadows to create that mind bending 3D effect.
Colour and details: Fill in your masterpiece with vibrant colours and add those final sharp details that make the artwork truly stand out.
