Do I need any prior art experience to join?

Absolutely! Our onboarding workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Most of our participants have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists in Winnipeg will guide you through everything from basic nozzle control to advanced layering techniques. You'll be amazed at the masterpiece you can create by the end of the session—no 'artistic talent' required, just a positive attitude!

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to get creative! This includes a wide variety of high-quality spray paint colours, protective gear like masks, gloves, and overalls, and the canvas or wall space for your art. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little paint on, just in case. We've got the rest covered!

Is the spray paint safe to use?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-odour professional spray paint and provide all necessary PPE, including high-quality masks and gloves. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated areas or outdoor spaces around Winnipeg. Our instructors also give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a fun and worry-free experience for everyone involved.

Can the workshop take place at my own location?

We are very flexible! While we have amazing partner locations in Winnipeg, we can also bring the graffiti experience to you. If you have a backyard, a warehouse, or a parking lot that allows it, we can set up mobile plastic walls or use large canvases. This makes our onboarding workshops a hit for backyard parties or corporate parking lot events.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard graffiti onboarding workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the creation of your final artwork. We can adjust the timing slightly to fit your schedule if you have a specific event timeline in mind.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We love hosting groups! Our workshops are perfect for groups ranging from small teams of 10 to large corporate gatherings of 100+. The pricing per person actually gets more competitive as your group size increases. For very large groups, we bring in additional professional artists to ensure everyone gets plenty of one-on-one guidance and coaching.

How does the payment process work?

No upfront payment is required to secure your booking with Graffitifun! We believe in the quality of our experience, so you only pay after the workshop is completed. This keeps things low-stress for you as an organizer. We accept various payment methods and will provide a clear invoice based on your final participant count and chosen package.
