Is the graffiti workshop safe for children?

Absolutely! We prioritize safety above all else. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks, and use professional-grade spray paint. Our expert instructors in Winnipeg are experienced in working with children and provide constant supervision. We teach proper spraying techniques and safety protocols right at the start, ensuring everyone has a blast while staying completely safe throughout the creative process. It is a controlled, fun environment for all ages.

Do the kids get to keep what they make?

The birthday star and their friends get to keep their masterpieces! Each child creates their own unique work on a high-quality canvas or board. These make the ultimate party favours—way better than a bag of plastic trinkets. Once the paint is dry (which doesn't take long), the kids can take their vibrant street art home to hang on their bedroom walls as a permanent memory of the best birthday ever.

What should the kids wear to the party?

We recommend wearing 'art clothes'—things you don't mind getting a bit of paint on. While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can be a messy business when the creativity starts flowing! Think old t-shirts, hoodies, and sneakers. It is all part of the authentic artist experience. We handle the mess of the setup and cleanup, so you can just focus on the birthday fun.

How long does a typical birthday workshop last?

Our standard graffiti birthday workshops in Winnipeg typically last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance: enough time for a thorough introduction, practicing techniques, and completing a full-scale masterpiece without the kids losing focus. If you have a specific schedule or a larger group, we can certainly adjust the duration to fit your party timeline perfectly. Just let us know your plans!

Where in Winnipeg can the workshop take place?

We are incredibly flexible! Graffitifun can host the workshop at one of our partner creative spaces in Winnipeg, or we can bring the entire street art studio to you. If you have a backyard, garage, or a rented community hall, we can set up our mobile graffiti walls there. We handle all the protective floor and wall coverings to ensure your property remains spotless while the kids get creative.

Is there a minimum age requirement for the party?

While our workshops are a hit for kids aged 7 and up, we can definitely adapt the program for younger children using different tools or more simplified techniques. For teenagers, we ramp up the technical skill-sharing to keep them challenged and engaged. Street art is a universal language that appeals to almost every age group, making it a versatile choice for any Winnipeg birthday celebration.

How does the payment process work?

We keep it simple! No upfront payment or deposit is required to secure your date. You only pay after the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied with the experience. We believe in the quality of our Winnipeg artists and our program, so we want you to feel completely confident. We accept various payment methods for your convenience once the 'wall of fame' is finished.

The Outline & Detail: We teach the secret 'cut-in' techniques to make those outlines pop and add those "wow-factor" highlights and 3D effects. 💪
The Final Reveal: Once the masterpieces are finished, we do a group 'gallery walk' where everyone cheers for each other's incredible street art. 🏆
