We bring the culture of the streets directly to your group, teaching everything from technical spray-painting skills to the importance of urban storytelling. The experience
Why choose a Graffitifun session for your next youth initiative? It’s not just a workshop; it’s an unforgettable experience that bridges the gap between urban culture and structured learning. 🎨
- Boosts self-esteem: Seeing a giant, colourful mural completed by their own hands gives youth an incredible sense of accomplishment.
- Zero cancellation stress: We have backup artists ready to go, ensuring your project always happens as planned. 🛡️
- Pro-level skills: Learn from real street artists who live and breathe the culture, giving participants an authentic experience.
- Team building: Large-scale graffiti requires communication and collaboration—perfect for strengthening community bonds.
- Safe & clean: We handle all the prep and cleanup, and provide top-tier protective gear for every participant.
- No financial risk: With our "pay after the workshop" policy, you can book with total peace of mind. 🎤

Step by step
- Intro and safety briefing: We kick things off with a quick meet-and-greet and a vital safety run-through so everyone knows how to use the gear properly. 🎉
- Graffiti history 101: A brief, engaging look at how street art evolved from subculture to a global art form, right here in Canada and beyond.
- Mastering the 'can control': Kids learn the basics: how to hold the can, different nozzle types, and how to create clean lines and dots.
- Sketching the vision: Every great mural starts with a plan! Participants draw out their ideas on paper before hitting the wall. 🎨
- Applying the base: We start the painting process by filling in the large shapes and getting the primary colours onto the surface.
- Adding style and shadows: Here’s where it gets 3D! Our artists teach the youth how to add highlights, shadows, and cool effects.
- The outline (The 'power line'): The final step where we add sharp outlines to make the artwork pop and look professional. 🔥
- Group photo and cleanup: We celebrate the hard work with a group photo in front of the masterpiece and pack up our gear.

Local culture
Street art in Winnipeg
Winnipeg has a surprisingly deep and gritty street art history. From the historic murals of the Exchange District to the ever-evolving legal walls in the West End, "Peg City" knows how to use public space for expression. We love tapping into this local energy, encouraging Winnipeg youth to draw inspiration from the city's unique mix of industrial roots and modern creativity. Whether we're painting near the Forks or in a community centre in North End, the spirit of the city always shines through in the art.
Pricing
Our youth project pricing is designed to be accessible for non-profits, schools, and community groups across Manitoba. Generally, prices range from C$40 to C$90 per participant.
Because every project is unique—varying in group size, location, and the scale of the artwork—we provide tailored estimates to ensure you get the most value for your budget. Plus, there is no upfront payment required; you pay only after the workshop! ✨
