Is the graffiti workshop safe for young children?

Safety is our number one priority, especially for primary school students in Alexandria. We use low-pressure spray cans that are easier for small hands to control and provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits. Our professional instructors supervise every single spray to ensure the kids stay safe while having the time of their lives expressing their creativity.

What kind of paint do you use for school workshops?

Yes, we use water-based or low-solvent spray paint specifically designed to be safer and less odorous for educational environments. Before we start any session in Alexandria, we set up a designated 'spray zone' with proper ventilation or work outdoors. We also provide full protective gear to keep the students' school uniforms clean and their lungs protected.

Where in Alexandria do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop right on your school grounds in Alexandria, whether that is in the playground or a sports field. If your school doesn't have the space, we can help find a local creative spot or 'hall of fame' nearby. We bring all the boards, plastic sheeting, and materials to you.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard primary school workshop in Alexandria lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a safety demonstration, sketching designs, and the final spray painting session. We can also split the timing to accommodate different classes or school schedules throughout the day.

Do the students need to have previous drawing experience?

Actually, no prior art skills are needed at all! Our Alexandria artists specialize in teaching beginners. We guide the students through simple shapes and techniques that build their confidence. By the end of the workshop, even the kids who thought they couldn't draw will be amazed at the masterpiece they helped create on the wall.

What is your booking and payment policy for schools?

We understand that school budgets and plans can change. That is why we offer a 'pay after the workshop' policy. You don't need to pay anything upfront to secure your date in Alexandria. We also have a network of backup artists ready to step in, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation.

Idea brainstorming: Students work together to pick a theme, like 'The Sea' or 'School Spirit,' and start sketching their ideas on paper.
Safety briefing: We demonstrate how to hold the spray cans correctly and ensure every student is fitted with their mask, gloves, and protective suit.
Artistic techniques: The artist teaches the kids basic skills like 'outlining,' 'filling,' and how to create cool 'fading' effects with different nozzles.
Group mural creation: Working on large mobile walls or boards, the students collaborate to bring their collective vision to life with vibrant colors.
Personalized touches: Each student gets a chance to add their own unique 'tag' or character to the mural, making it a true team effort.

By bringing a graffiti workshop to your primary school, you are connecting students to the local urban art scene that breathes life into Mediterranean walls. We often draw inspiration from Alexandria’s unique coastal vibe—think shades of Mediterranean blue, lighthouse motifs, and the bustling energy of the city streets. Our workshops encourage kids to appreciate their local environment while learning a contemporary art form that respects public spaces. It is a great way to show them that art isn't just in museums—it's all around them in Alexandria.
