Is it safe for primary school children to use spray paint?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, lightweight protective overalls, and nitrile gloves to keep every student clean and safe. Our aerosol paints are used in well-ventilated outdoor areas, and our professional artists are experts at managing large groups of children to ensure everyone follows the safety guidelines while having a blast. It is a completely controlled and professional environment.

Do the students need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for beginners. Our expert artists start with the basics, teaching kids how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create simple shapes. We guide them through every step of the process, ensuring that every child, regardless of their artistic ability, walks away with a piece of art they are genuinely proud of. It’s all about building confidence!

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We usually require a minimum of 10 participants, but we can accommodate very large groups of up to 100+ students by bringing in extra artists and setting up multiple stations. Our Palma team is flexible and can scale the workshop to fit your specific needs, whether it is for a single class or an entire year group. We always ensure a high artist-to-student ratio.

How long does a typical school workshop last?

The workshops typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. For primary schools, we find that a 2-hour session is the 'sweet spot'—it gives enough time for a solid introduction, participation in a group mural, and individual canvas work without the children losing focus. We can easily adjust the timing to fit your school’s existing timetable or break schedule.

What does the school need to provide?

The best part is that we handle almost everything! We bring all the spray paint, caps, protective gear, and canvases. All the school needs to provide is an outdoor area (like a playground or sports court) and access to some water for cleaning up. If you want to paint a permanent wall on your school grounds, we just need the surface prepared in advance.

What happens if it rains or an artist is ill?

While we love being outdoors in the Mallorca sun, we always have a plan B. If the weather turns, we can often move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or a very well-ventilated indoor hall using water-based, low-odour paints. Additionally, we have backup artists on standby for every booking, so you never have to worry about a last-minute cancellation from our side.

Can we create a permanent mural on a school wall?

Absolutely! We love it when schools have a specific project in mind. Whether it's the school logo, a 'friendship' theme, or a celebration of Mallorcan culture, we can pre-sketch a design for the students to fill in together. This collaborative approach is fantastic for team-building and creates a lasting legacy on your school walls that the children will walk past every day.
