Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants with sensory sensitivities?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour, water-based spray paints where possible and provide full protective gear, including masks and gloves. Our instructors are trained to manage groups with various needs, ensuring everyone stays within their comfort zone while having a blast. We always conduct a safety briefing before any paint hits the wall.

Do we need to travel to a specific studio in Kimbe?

We are completely mobile! While we have partner locations, we often bring the workshop to you. Whether it's a community centre in Kimbe or a private garden, we just need a well-ventilated space. We'll bring all the boards, plastic sheeting, and materials to ensure the area stays clean while the creativity flows freely.

Do participants need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our special needs workshops are designed for all skill levels. We use stencils and simple techniques that allow everyone to create something they are proud of instantly. Our professional artists are there to guide every hand, ensuring that the process is rewarding and frustration-free for every single participant.

What should participants wear to the session?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little bit of 'artistic' character on. While we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves, spray paint has a way of finding its way onto shoes or sleeves. Think 'casual and ready to paint'—it’s all part of the fun of being a street artist!

What is the age limit for these workshops?

We usually suggest a minimum age of 6, but we are very flexible. For our special needs programmes, we focus more on individual capability and interest rather than a strict age limit. If you have a specific group in mind, just chat with us, and we can tailor the tools and spray cans to fit their needs.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard session usually lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This provides enough time for a demo, practice, and the creation of a 'masterpiece' without being over-stimulating or tiring. However, we can shorten or lengthen the duration based on the energy levels and requirements of your specific group.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Kimbe is a town known for its breathtaking natural beauty, from the coral reefs of Kimbe Bay to the lush volcanic landscapes. We aim to bring that same vibrant energy into our workshops! While street art might be a newer concept in the West New Britain region, the local spirit of community and storytelling makes it the perfect place for a collaborative mural project. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know Kimbe is famous for its incredible biodiversity? We often see participants drawing inspiration from the bright tropical fish and lush rainforest greenery when they start choosing their spray paint colours!

Our workshops foster a sense of local pride, allowing participants to contribute to the visual culture of their city in a safe, guided environment. Whether we are painting near the town centre or at a local school, the Kimbe sunshine always makes those spray-painted colours pop! ✨
