Do I need to be an artist already to take this training?

Absolutely no prior experience is needed! Our Poznań training is designed to take you from a complete novice to a confident street art educator. We start with basic motor skills and can control before moving into complex layering and letter structures. Our professional artists provide a supportive environment where making mistakes is just part of the creative process. You'll leave with the skills to teach others, regardless of your starting point.

Is the spray paint safe to use in a school setting?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide all necessary high-quality protective gear, including FFP3 masks, gloves, and overalls. During the session in Poznań, we'll teach you the specific safety protocols you need to implement when working with students, such as proper ventilation, storage of materials, and skin protection. You will learn how to make the graffiti experience 100% safe for any classroom environment.

How long does the teacher training session last?

Our standard professional development sessions in Poznań typically last between 2.5 to 4 hours. This timeframe is carefully structured to balance theoretical knowledge, technical skill-building, and a final collaborative piece. If you have specific curriculum goals or a larger department, we can extend the training into a full-day immersive masterclass. We are very flexible and can adapt the timing to fit your professional development schedule.

Are materials included in the price?

Yes, everything is included! We provide professional-grade spray cans in a huge variety of colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective clothing, and the surfaces we'll be painting on. We also provide educational handouts and digital resources that you can use in your own lessons later. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty!

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We usually require a minimum group of 5-8 educators for a private booking in Poznań, but we are very accommodating to smaller art departments too. Because we have a large team of backup artists, we can also handle very large groups of up to 50 teachers at once. The price per person generally decreases as your group size increases, making it a very cost-effective PD option for schools.

How do I get a price estimate for my school?

Getting a quote is easy and fast! Since our pricing depends on your specific group size and any custom requirements, we recommend using our online Cost Calculator or sending us a quick message. We provide transparent pricing in PLN, and the best part is that you don't have to pay anything upfront. You only pay after the workshop is completed and you are 100% satisfied.

Can you help us incorporate local Poznań street art into the curriculum?

Poznań has a fantastic street art scene, and we can certainly include a discussion or a brief walk to nearby murals as part of your training. Learning about local legends and the history of the 'Jeżyce' or 'Śródka' districts adds incredible context to your teaching. We help you connect global graffiti culture with the specific urban art identity of Poznań, giving your future lessons a local heartbeat.

Step by step

Introduction to Street Culture: We kick off with a deep dive into the history of graffiti and how it evolved into the modern street art movement we see in Poznań today.
Gear and Safety Briefing: Learn the essential safety protocols, from correct mask fitting to managing a 'spray zone' with a group of students.
Mastering the Can: Get hands-on with 'can control'. Practice lines, dots, and fades while learning about different nozzles (caps) and their specific uses.
Sketching and Lettering: Move to the sketchbook to understand 'tagging', 'throw-ups', and 'pieces'. We show you how to teach students to scale their designs from paper to wall.
The Power of Stencils: Explore stencil techniques, a fantastic way to engage students who might be intimidated by freehand spraying.
Guided Implementation: Under the watchful eye of our pros, start executing your own design on a large canvas or wall, applying all the techniques learned.
Curriculum Integration: We brainstorm how to link graffiti to your specific curriculum, whether it's through history, social justice, or pure technique.
Final Critique and Q&A: A relaxed wrap-up where we discuss assessment strategies and how to troubleshoot common issues in a classroom setting.

Local culture

Poznań isn't just about the famous mechanical goats at the Town Hall; it's a city pulsating with hidden creativity. From the massive murals in the Śródka district to the ever-changing "legal walls," the city serves as a living gallery.
