Do I need previous experience with spray paint to join the training?

No prior graffiti experience is necessary. Our training is designed to take you from 'zero to hero.' Whether you are a classic watercolour painter or haven't picked up a brush since school, our professional artists will teach you the technical handling of spray cans, safety protocols, and stylistic elements. We focus on transferable skills that you can immediately adapt for your own classroom environment in Warsaw.

How do you handle health and safety during the teacher training?

Safety is our absolute priority. We provide high-quality respirators, gloves, and protective suits for all participants. During the workshop, we cover classroom management specifically for graffiti, including how to set up well-ventilated outdoor areas, how to store materials safely, and how to teach students to respect both the medium and the environment. You’ll leave feeling confident in managing a safe creative space.

What materials are included in the professional development package?

Essentially everything! The price includes professional-grade spray paint, caps, safety gear, and surfaces to practice on. We also provide digital resources and lesson plan templates that you can take back to your school. You just need to wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of 'artistic' dust on while we work.

Can I use these skills for the national curriculum?

Absolutely. Graffiti isn't just about painting; it's a gateway to discussing history, social justice, typography, and colour theory. We show you how to align street art projects with the broader curriculum, helping you engage students who might usually tune out during traditional art history lessons. It’s a fantastic tool for boosting student engagement and school spirit.

How long does the training session usually last?

Typically, our professional development sessions in Warsaw last between 2 and 4 hours. This gives us enough time to cover the history of the movement, master the basic motor skills of spraying, and complete a collaborative piece. We can also customise the duration to fit into your school's scheduled 'inset' days or professional development afternoons.

What is the payment process for schools and educational institutions?

We are very flexible! We understand that school budgets and schedules can be tricky. You don't need to pay anything upfront to secure your booking. You can pay via invoice after the workshop has been successfully completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the training before the transaction is finalised.

Local culture

Warsaw is a city where history meets the avant-garde, and its walls tell that story better than any textbook. From the legendary murals in Praga-Północ to the hidden gems around the Gdański Bridge, the city is a living gallery. Our training draws inspiration from the local "Warsaw Style," known for its bold outlines and political undertones. 🏙️

Fun Fact: Did you know that Warsaw is home to some of the tallest murals in Europe? Many of these were commissioned to brighten up the grey "Plattenbau" walls from the socialist era, proving that street art is the ultimate tool for urban renewal!
