Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Most people in our Kimberley team building workshops have never held a spray can before. Our professional artists are expert instructors who break down the techniques into simple, manageable steps. We focus on 'controlled creativity,' ensuring that everyone—from the office accountant to the CEO—can produce something they are proud of while having a fantastic time together. It's all about the experience and the team bond!

Is the graffiti workshop safe for my employees?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks, to ensure a clean and safe environment. We use professional-grade spray paint and conduct our sessions in well-ventilated outdoor or large indoor spaces. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring your team can focus entirely on the fun and creative process without any worries.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard team building session in Kimberley typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This includes the initial introduction, street art history, technique practice, and the final collaborative mural project. However, we are flexible! If you have a tighter schedule for your corporate away-day or want a more intensive half-day masterclass, we can customise the duration to fit your specific itinerary and goals perfectly.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We can accommodate a wide range of group sizes! Whether you are a small boutique team of 10 or a massive corporate division of 200, we have the artists and equipment to scale the event. For very large groups, we often split the team into smaller 'crews' that work on different sections of a giant collaborative wall, ensuring everyone stays engaged and gets hands-on time with the paint.

Where in Kimberley do the workshops take place?

We are fully mobile! We can host the workshop at your office parking lot, a local Kimberley park, or one of our partner venues in the city. If it rains, don't worry—we have backup plans and can often move the session to a sheltered area or use canvases indoors if the space allows. We also have a network of backup artists to ensure your event never gets cancelled.

What should our team members wear?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little 'artistic' on. While we provide protective gear like ponchos and gloves, spray paint can sometimes find a way onto shoes or sleeves. Think casual Friday attire or activewear. It's best to leave the expensive suits and designer heels at home for this particular team building adventure to ensure you can move freely and create comfortably.

How does the payment process work?

One of the best parts of our Kimberley workshops is that we don't require upfront payments. You can book your date and confirm your team building event, and then handle the payment after the workshop is completed. This 'fun first' approach shows our confidence in the quality of our service and makes the administrative process much easier for your corporate finance department. Quality and satisfaction are always guaranteed!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next Kimberley corporate event? Because it breaks down hierarchies and gets everyone working on the same level—literally! Street art is a powerful equaliser that sparks real connection. 🔥

Boosts Morale: There’s nothing quite like the rush of creating something huge and colourful with your colleagues to lift the spirits.
Encourages Innovation: Graffiti requires quick thinking and adapting, skills that translate directly back to the office environment.
Unleashes Hidden Talent: You’ll be amazed at the artistic flair hidden within your team—even from those who claim they can't draw a stick figure!
Tangible Results: Unlike a seminar, you end the day with a physical masterpiece that can even be hung in your office as a reminder of the day. 🏆
Stress Relief: The tactile nature of spraying paint is incredibly therapeutic and a great way to vent workplace pressure.
Total Inclusivity: Our workshops are designed for all ages and physical abilities, ensuring no one is left on the sidelines.

Step by step

Arrival & gear up: Your team arrives at the Kimberley venue where our artists greet you with high-energy vibes and distribute all necessary protective gear.
Introduction to street art: We dive into the fascinating history of graffiti, moving from 'vandalism' to high-end gallery art, setting the stage for your session.
Mastering the can: Our pros demonstrate essential techniques—lines, dots, fades, and fills—giving everyone a chance to practice on test boards.
Concept brainstorming: Teams huddle up to brainstorm a theme that represents your company's values, a new project, or your unique Kimberley office culture.
Sketching the vision: Using markers and large-scale outlines, we help you translate those big ideas onto the final workshop wall or canvases.
The main event: The music goes up and the caps go on! This is where the team collaborates in real-time, layering colours and bringing the mural to life.
Final outlines & highlights: Our artists help you add the 'pro' touches—sharp outlines and highlights that make your team's artwork pop.
The big reveal & photos: We step back to admire the finished masterpiece. It’s the perfect time for team photos and a celebratory shout-out! 📸

Local culture

Kimberley, the 'City that Sparkles,' has a rich history of grit and discovery, making it the perfect backdrop for a creative transformation. While the city is world-famous for its diamonds, we’re here to help your team find their own 'gems' of creativity through street art. From the historic streets near the McGregor Museum to the modern hubs of the Northern Cape, Kimberley’s unique blend of old-world charm and resilient spirit provides incredible inspiration for any mural project. 💎

Fun Fact: Did you know Kimberley was the first city in the Southern Hemisphere to have electric street lights? We love that 'bright spark' energy and aim to bring that same illumination to your team’s collaborative spirit! 💡

In a city known for its 'Big Hole,' we focus on filling gaps in communication and building solid bridges between colleagues. Our workshops tap into the local vibe, encouraging teams to incorporate Kimberley landmarks or South African motifs into their designs, creating a lasting memory of their time in the Diamond Fields.

Pricing

We offer competitive pricing for our Kimberley sessions, ensuring high-value experiences for every budget. Our graffiti team building packages are all-inclusive, covering everything from the first spray to the final cleanup.

Investment: R400 – R900 per person

Please note that final pricing depends on your group size, the chosen venue, and the specific materials (like individual canvases or large-scale mural walls). We believe in transparency and customisation.
