Do we need any previous artistic experience for this workshop?

Absolutely! Most of our Likasi team building participants have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists are expert mentors who break down the process into easy, manageable steps. We start with basic lines and shapes before moving on to complex filling techniques, ensuring everyone feels like a pro by the end of the session. It is all about the journey and the collective spirit of the team.

Is the paint safe and what protective gear do you provide?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective suits, and gloves to every participant. We typically host our workshops in well-ventilated outdoor spaces or large industrial halls. Our spray paints are professional-grade, and our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone starts spraying. You are in safe, experienced hands with the Graffitifun crew throughout the entire creative process.

How long does a typical graffiti team building session last?

A standard team building session in Likasi usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives your team enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final execution of your large-scale group masterpiece. If you have a specific schedule to stick to, we can compress the session or extend it with more technical challenges to suit your needs.

Where in Likasi do the workshops take place?

We are highly flexible! We can host the workshop at a partner location in Likasi, or we can bring the entire 'street art studio' to your office car park or a private venue of your choice. As long as we have a well-ventilated space and permission to be there, we can set up our mobile plastic walls and drop cloths to ensure the area stays clean while your creativity flows.

How does the 'pay afterwards' policy work for corporate groups?

Unlike traditional workshops where you pay upfront, we believe in the quality of our service. You only pay after the workshop has been successfully completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience before any transaction happens. We accept various payment methods, making the administrative side as smooth as the art itself. It is a risk-free way to book the most exciting day for your Likasi team.

What should our team wear for the graffiti workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on. While we provide full-body protective overalls, it is always better to be safe than sorry! Since Likasi can get quite warm, breathable fabrics are best. We provide everything else—the paint, the caps, the masks, and the canvas. Just bring your team’s energy and a willingness to try something totally new!

What happens if it rains or an artist is unavailable?

Rain or shine, the art goes on! If we are planned for an outdoor session and the weather turns, we usually have backup indoor locations or can set up professional gazebos. Additionally, we have a pool of backup artists available in the region, so even if an instructor falls ill, your event is guaranteed to happen. We pride ourselves on never cancelling on our corporate clients.

Local culture

Likasi, the "Lumière" city, is known for its industrial heartbeat, but we’re here to add a splash of colour to that mining heritage. The city’s unique blend of colonial history and modern Congolese energy provides the perfect backdrop for urban expression. We love drawing inspiration from the local landscape—from the red earth to the bustling markets. 🏙️

Fun Fact: Did you know Likasi was once the centre of the world's cobalt production? Just as the city refines raw materials into valuable metals, we help refine your team's raw energy into a polished piece of street art!
