Step by step

  1. Introduction & Safety: We start with a quick meet-and-greet and a safety briefing, handing out masks and gloves.
  2. The Basics: Our artists demonstrate different nozzles (caps) and how to control paint flow and line thickness.
  3. Concept Sketching: You'll brainstorm ideas and sketch out a rough design for your individual piece or the group mural.
  4. First Lines: It's time to pick up the can! You'll start by outlining your letters or shapes on the wall or canvas.
  5. Filling & Colouring: Learn how to apply smooth layers of colour and create cool gradients (fades).
  6. The Details: We show you how to add shadows, highlights, and that "pop" that makes graffiti look professional.
  7. Final Outlines: Clean up the edges with a sharp outline to make the whole piece stand out.
  8. Group Photo & Review: We wrap up by admiring the collective work and taking some epic photos for the gram!

Local culture

Street art in Likasi

Likasi, the "City of Lights," is known for its industrial heartbeat and its role as a vital hub in the Upper Katanga province. But beyond the mining heritage lies a growing thirst for modern expression. In a city where the youth are increasingly looking for new ways to define their identity, street art provides a powerful, visual voice. We love bringing our workshops to Likasi because the students here have an incredible energy and a unique perspective that blends local culture with global urban trends. Whether we are setting up near the university grounds or in a creative communal space, the atmosphere in Likasi is always electric.

Fun Fact: Did you know Likasi was once named Jadotville? The city's transformation over the decades mirrors the transformative power of graffiti—taking something established and giving it a fresh, bold new look!

Pricing

We believe high-quality art experiences should be accessible. Our pricing is flexible based on how many students are participating and the type of project you want to tackle.

Estimated price range: FC50,000 - FC120,000 per person.

Please note that larger faculty groups often benefit from a lower price per person. Because every university event is unique—whether it's a small club or a massive festival—we recommend getting in touch for a tailored estimate.
