Do students need any prior art experience?

Absolutely! Our graffiti workshops in Sigatoka are designed for everyone, from complete beginners to budding artists. Our professional instructors break down the process into simple, manageable steps, starting with basic lines and shapes before moving on to more complex pieces. You'll be amazed at what you can achieve in just a few hours with our guidance—no prior art experience is needed to create something stunning.

Is the workshop safe for university students?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits to ensure everyone stays clean and safe. We use professional-grade spray paint in well-ventilated outdoor areas, and our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can. We make sure the environment is controlled and fun, so you can focus entirely on your creative output without any worries.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard university workshop in Sigatoka typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This timeframe allows for a full introduction to the history of street art, a practice session on basic techniques, and enough time to collaborate on a final large-scale masterpiece or individual canvases. We can also adjust the duration to fit into specific seminar schedules or student union event slots if required.

What materials do you provide for the workshop?

We come fully prepared! Your workshop includes all necessary materials: a wide range of professional spray paint colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective gear (suits, masks, and gloves), and the painting surface (either a communal wall or individual canvases). We also bring our expert instructors who provide all the tips and tricks of the trade. You just need to show up in comfortable clothes.

Where in Sigatoka do the workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible. We can host the workshop at various outdoor locations around Sigatoka, or we can bring the entire setup directly to your university campus or a specific student event venue. As long as there is adequate ventilation and a suitable space for our boards or canvases, we can make it work. We'll coordinate with you to find the most convenient spot.

How much does a university graffiti workshop cost?

We understand that university budgets and event sizes vary. We don't have a flat rate; instead, we offer custom quotes based on your specific group size and the level of setup required. Whether it's a small society gathering or a massive campus-wide festival, we provide a cost-effective solution. Contact us for a quick quote, and remember: you only pay after the workshop is complete!

Can we book this for a specific student society?

Yes! Our workshops are perfect for team-building within student societies, sports teams, or academic cohorts. We often design sessions where students must collaborate on one massive mural, requiring communication and shared vision. It’s a brilliant way to break the ice, reduce stress during exam seasons, and build a sense of community through a shared, hands-on creative experience.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next university event in Sigatoka? It’s more than just painting; it's about building a vibe and creating memories that last longer than a semester. 🔥

Ultimate Stress Buster: Nothing relieves exam pressure quite like the rhythmic hiss of a spray can and a burst of vibrant colour.
Unique Social Media Content: Your campus event will be the talk of Instagram and TikTok with stunning, colourful murals as the backdrop.
Inclusivity First: Street art is the great equaliser—it doesn't matter your background or skill level; everyone can contribute to the piece.
Professional Mentorship: Learn from real artists who live and breathe the culture, not just an "arts and crafts" instructor.
Zero Hassle: We handle the setup, the gear, and the cleanup. You just provide the space and the students!

Step by step

Introduction & Inspiration: Our expert street artist kicks things off with a brief history of graffiti culture and an overview of the tools we'll be using.
Safety Briefing: We suit up! Everyone gets a protective suit, mask, and gloves while we explain the "rules of the can" for a safe session.
The First Lines: Under our guidance, students learn basic techniques like how to control the pressure of the spray can and create clean lines.
Lettering & Style: We move on to the "funky" stuff—learning how to sketch letters, add shadows, and create that classic 3D graffiti look.
Design Phase: The group brainstorms a theme or a "tag" that represents the university or the specific student group.
The Big Piece: It's time to hit the wall! Students work together to fill in the design, layer colours, and refine the edges.
Finetuning & Highlights: We add those final pops of white and sharp outlines that make the artwork truly stand out.
The Reveal & Photos: We step back to admire the finished masterpiece. It’s the perfect moment for a group photo to remember the day!

Good to know

Our workshops are designed to be as seamless as possible for university organisers. Each session typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours, but we can extend this for larger "drop-in" style campus events. We cater to groups of all sizes, from intimate university societies of 10 to massive student festivals with hundreds of participants. 🏆

Included: All professional spray cans, caps, protective gear (suits/masks/gloves), and painting surfaces.
Setup: We can set up on your campus using mobile plastic walls or provide individual canvases for students to take home.
Safety: We use low-odour, professional-grade paint and enforce strict safety standards with a dedicated artist instructor for every subgroup.
Backup: We always have backup artists on standby to ensure your event never gets cancelled! 💪

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Sigatoka is more than just a gateway to the Coral Coast; it’s a town with deep roots and a resilient spirit. While it might be famous for the Sigatoka Sand Dunes and its legendary rugby players, there is a growing appetite for contemporary urban expression. Our workshops capture this local blend of tradition and modernity, encouraging students to incorporate Fijian motifs or Bula spirit into their graffiti designs. 🏝️

Fun Fact: Sigatoka is located at the mouth of the Sigatoka River, the second largest river in Fiji. Just like the river’s flow, our graffiti sessions encourage a "flow state" where students can lose themselves in the creative process!

In a city where the landscape is dominated by stunning natural beauty, adding a splash of curated, colourful street art creates a fantastic contrast. We love bringing this modern art form to the heart of the "Salad Bowl of Fiji," proving that creativity grows just as well here as the local produce. ✨

Pricing

We believe in providing a premium experience that fits your budget. Because university events can range from small club meetings to massive campus-wide orientations, we don't use a one-size-fits-all pricing model. 🎤

Prices depend on group size and setup—request a quote today!
