Do we need any previous art experience?

Absolutely! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from those who haven't touched a spray can to seasoned doodlers. Our professional artists guide you through every step, starting with basic lines and safety. You'll be surprised at how quickly your student group can create something that looks like it belongs on a gallery wall. It’s all about the experience and having a blast together in Tallinn.

What should we wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfy clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. While we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves, graffiti can occasionally be a bit messy when the creativity starts flowing! If you're planning on heading out to the Telliskivi bars directly after the workshop, maybe bring a change of clothes just in case you get too enthusiastic with the spray.

Where do the university workshops take place?

We’re super flexible! We can host you at one of our dedicated street art spots in Tallinn, or we can bring the entire setup to your university campus or a specific event venue. We use mobile graffiti walls and professional floor protection to ensure we leave the place exactly as we found it—except with much better vibes and some awesome new artwork to show off.

How long does a session typically last?

A standard university workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives your group plenty of time to learn the techniques, practice your 'tag', and collaborate on a large-scale masterpiece or individual canvases. If you have a specific schedule or a tight timeframe between lectures, just let us know and we can tailor the session to fit your needs perfectly.

Is the workshop safe for student groups?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide all necessary protective gear, including gloves and high-quality masks if we are working in less ventilated areas. Our spray paints are professional-grade, and our instructors are trained to ensure everyone uses the equipment correctly. We make sure the environment is controlled and fun, so you can focus entirely on your creative output without any worries.

Can we choose what we want to paint?

Total creative freedom is the name of the game! You can choose to work on a collective mural representing your student society or faculty, or everyone can create their own individual piece to take home. Many university groups like to pick a theme—like 'Future of Tech' or 'Tallinn Vibes'—to give the session a bit of focus, but we’re happy to let your imaginations run wild.

What happens if it rains on the day?

No problem at all! We provide professional-grade rain protection and canopies for outdoor sessions, or we can simply move the workshop to an indoor location. We always have a backup plan ready to go, and with our team of backup artists, we ensure your event happens no matter what the Estonian weather decides to do. Your creative flow won't be stopped by a few raindrops!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your Tallinn university group? Because boring socials are a thing of the past! It’s time to get hands-on and creative. 💪

Total stress relief: Nothing beats the satisfying "hiss" of a spray can to forget about those upcoming deadlines. 🌬️
Team building that actually works: Collaborating on a large-scale mural forces you to communicate and create in a way a pub crawl just can't.
Zero experience needed: Our pro artists make sure everyone, from engineering students to historians, creates something they’re proud of.
Epic social content: Your Instagram feed will thank you—these workshops are incredibly photogenic and "cool" personified. 📸
No-risk booking: With no upfront payment and guaranteed fun, it's the easiest event you'll ever have to organise.

Looking for something else? We also do bachelor parties, kids parties, and company events! 🎉

Step by step

Intro and safety: We kick things off with a quick intro to the tools and some vital safety tips to keep everyone protected while we paint.
Design brainstorming: Your group brainstorms a concept. Whether it's your university logo or a wild abstract piece, we help you refine the idea.
Can control basics: Our pros show you how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create different line widths for that perfect finish.
The 'Tag' session: Everyone gets to practice their own signature or 'tag' on a practice wall to get the feel of the spray.
Sketching the mural: We help you scale up your design onto the main wall or canvases using light 'ghost' lines as a guide.
Filling in: This is where the colour happens! You'll learn techiques for smooth fills and vibrant colour transitions.
Outlining and highlights: Add those sharp outlines and 'shines' that make graffiti art pop and look truly professional.
The big reveal: Step back and admire the massive piece of art your university group has created together – perfect for a group photo!

Local culture

Tallinn is a city where medieval history meets cutting-edge urban cool. While the Old Town is a UNESCO gem, areas like Telliskivi Creative City have turned Tallinn into a world-class destination for street art. Walking through Kalamaja, you'll see how graffiti has transformed former industrial spaces into vibrant cultural hubs. Our workshops tap into this local energy, giving you a chance to contribute to the city's evolving creative narrative. 🎨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Tallinn hosts several international street art festivals where world-renowned artists fly in to paint massive murals on the sides of Soviet-era apartment blocks? It's gone from being seen as "vandalism" to being a celebrated part of Estonia's modern identity! 🇪🇪

Whether you are based at Tallinn University or TalTech, we can bring the workshop to your neck of the woods or show you the best legal spots in the city. Also, check out our workshops in Tartu or Parnu if your student society is heading on a road trip!
