The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next youth project in the Estonian capital? It’s about more than just paint on a wall—it’s about building bridges and breaking boundaries. 🚀

  • Authentic self-expression: Graffiti gives a voice to those who might struggle with traditional art forms.
  • Teamwork and collaboration: Designing a large-scale mural requires communication and shared goals.
  • Professional mentorship: Our artists are not just teachers; they are role models who share their passion and career journeys. 🎤
  • Skill development: Participants learn motor skills, colour theory, and spatial planning in an exciting way.
  • Safe environment: We take the 'rebellion' of graffiti and channel it into a positive, legal, and safe community activity.
  • Instant results: There is nothing more satisfying for a young person than seeing their giant artwork finished in just two hours! 🏆

Step by step

  1. Introduction & safety briefing: We start with a high-energy intro, teaching the group about the history of graffiti and how to use the equipment safely.
  2. Mastering the can: Participants learn the 'secret' techniques of the pros, from creating thin lines to filling large areas smoothly.
  3. Sketching the vision: Our artists help the youth brainstorm and sketch their designs, whether it's a collaborative mural or individual pieces.
  4. First outlines: It’s time to hit the wall! Everyone starts by mapping out their shapes under the watchful eye of our experts.
  5. Adding the colour: This is where the magic happens. We dive into the vibrant world of colour blending and 'fades'.
  6. Sharpening the edges: We teach the group how to use 'outlining' and 'highlights' to make their art pop off the wall.
  7. The grand reveal: We step back to admire the collective work, snap some epic photos, and celebrate the creative achievement.

Local culture

Street art in Tallinn

Tallinn is a city where medieval history meets cutting-edge innovation, and that same spirit is reflected in its street art scene. While parts of the Old Town are strictly preserved, areas like the Telliskivi Creative City have become a living canvas for international and local muralists. Our workshops tap into this local 'Kalamaja vibe,' encouraging youth to contribute to Estonia's growing reputation for Nordic-cool urban art.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Tallinn is home to some of the largest murals in the Baltics? Street art is increasingly celebrated here as a tool for urban renewal and community bonding! ✨

We often work in collaboration with local initiatives to ensure that our youth projects respect the city's aesthetic while giving young people a voice in their own neighbourhoods.

Pricing

Our youth project workshops in Tallinn are competitively priced to ensure community accessibility. We believe every young person should have the chance to experience the joy of street art!

Estimated price range: €20 - €40 per person

Please note that the final price depends on the duration, number of participants, and the type of materials requested (e.g., individual canvases to take home vs. a communal mural).
