How it works

  1. Arrival and Greeting: Meet our pro artists at the designated Charleroi street art spot or your school grounds.
  2. Gear Up: Put on your protective overalls, gloves, and high-quality masks to stay clean and safe.
  3. The Basics: Learn about 'can control'—how to create thin lines, thick fades, and perfect dots.
  4. Sketching Your Idea: Work with the artist to sketch your design on the wall or canvas using light colours.
  5. Filling In: This is the fun part! Add vibrant colours to your design and learn how to blend them smoothly.
  6. Outlining: Define your work with sharp outlines to make the graffiti 'pop' and look professional.
  7. Highlights and Details: Add those final 'shines' and 'power lines' that give street art its energetic character.
  8. Group Photo: Pose with your masterpiece! It’s time to celebrate what you’ve achieved together.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum age for the workshop?

Our after-school sessions are open to everyone from age 8 and up! We tailor our teaching style to match the age group, ensuring younger kids focus on simple shapes and safety, while teenagers can dive into more complex shading and lettering techniques. It is a fantastic way for different age groups to bond over a shared creative project in a relaxed, supervised environment.

Do we need any prior drawing or painting skills?

Not at all! Our professional artists start with the absolute basics. We teach you how to hold the can, control the pressure, and create clean lines. Most of our participants have never touched a spray can before they arrive. By the end of the session, you will be amazed at the professional-looking piece of art you have created with your own hands.

Is the spray paint safe for children?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. We use specialized low-pressure spray paint which is easier to control and much safer for beginners. Our artists provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a worry-free environment for parents and teachers.

What should the students wear to the session?

Comfort is key! While we provide protective overalls, we always recommend wearing 'old' clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of paint on. Graffiti is a physical and sometimes messy art form. Once you are geared up in our suits, you will be ready to paint like a pro without worrying about your favourite trainers.

Where in Charleroi do the workshops take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at one of our dedicated graffiti spots in Charleroi or come directly to your school or youth centre if you have a suitable outdoor wall or space. If you choose our locations, you get to experience an authentic street art environment. If we come to you, we ensure everything is set up safely.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard after-school workshop typically lasts between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for the introduction, safety briefing, technique practice, and the final creation of a large-scale masterpiece. We can adjust the timing to fit your school's specific schedule or transport requirements if needed. Just let us know your constraints!
