How it works

  1. Intro & Safety: We start with a warm welcome and a quick briefing on how to use the equipment safely. 🎨
  2. Nailing the Basics: Learn the 'can control'—how to fade, outline, and make dots without the drips.
  3. Sketching your Vision: Grab a marker and map out your design on the canvas or wall before the paint flies.
  4. Fill-ins & Colours: This is where the magic happens! Choose your palette and start filling in your piece. ✨
  5. The Power of Outlining: Use high-contrast colours to make your design pop and look professional.
  6. Adding the Details: Our artists show you how to add highlights, shadows, and 'bubbles' for that 3D effect.
  7. The Big Reveal: We step back and admire the collective work of art created by your group! 🏆

Frequently asked questions

How long does a typical graffiti pop-up session last?

Our Riga pop-up events typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives you plenty of time to learn the basic strokes, practice your tag, and complete a final masterpiece. If you are hosting a larger public 'flow-through' event where people drop in and out, we can adjust the timing to keep the spray cans clicking all day long!

Do we need any previous art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Most of our participants in Latvia have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists start with a safety briefing and basic techniques—like how to control the pressure and create clean lines—before moving onto the creative stuff. You’ll be amazed at how quickly you pick up the skills needed to create something awesome.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to get creative in Riga! This includes high-quality spray paint in a huge variety of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and masks. We also provide the canvases or 'practice walls' (depending on the package). All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and some comfortable shoes you don't mind getting a bit of dust on.

Where in Riga does the workshop take place?

Because our pop-up events are mobile, we can come to you! Whether it's a car park in Skanste, a warehouse in the Maskavas pockets, or a private garden, we just need a well-ventilated space. If you don't have a venue, let us know—we have several partner locations across Riga where we can host your group safely.

Is the graffiti workshop safe?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour, high-quality paints and provide all necessary PPE, including FFP2 or FFP3 masks and nitrile gloves. Our instructors are professional artists who ensure that everyone follows the safety guidelines, making the experience 100% safe for kids, adults, and corporate teams alike. We always ensure proper ventilation at every site.

Do I need to pay in advance for the event?

One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexibility. We don't require any upfront payment to secure your booking in Riga. You can settle the invoice after the workshop is complete. This takes the stress out of planning, especially for large company events or brand activations where logistics can change at the last minute.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

Our pop-ups are designed to be flexible! For a structured workshop, we usually suggest a minimum of 10 people to get the best atmosphere. However, for festival-style activations or public events, we can cater to hundreds of people throughout the day. Just tell us your expected headcount and we will bring enough paint and artists to match!
