How it works

Arrival and meet-up: Gather your group at the designated pop-up spot in Liepaja where our artists will be waiting with all the gear.
The 'intro' talk: We’ll give you a brief, high-energy history of street art and explain how we’re going to turn the walls (or canvases) into art.
Gear up for safety: We’ll hand out masks, gloves, and overalls. Safety first, but let's make it look cool!
Master the nozzle: Learn the 'can-control' basics—how to hold the spray can, how to vary line thickness, and how to avoid those pesky drips.
Sketching your vision: Use chalk or light spray to outline your design. Don't worry, our pros are there to help you get the proportions right.
Fill and flow: Start adding vibrant colours! This is where the magic happens as your piece starts to pop off the surface.
The final outline: Add those sharp black outlines and 'highlights' that give graffiti its iconic, professional look.
Photo op: Strike a pose with your finished masterpiece. These photos are perfect for your social feed or office wall!
Clean up: We take care of all the waste and materials, leaving the site exactly as we found it (except for the amazing art!).

Frequently asked questions

Do I need any prior art experience to participate?

You certainly don't! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from people who can't draw a straight line to seasoned hobbyists. Our professional graffiti artists will guide you through the basics of spray control, lettering, and shading. By the end of the session, you'll be amazed at what you've managed to create. It's all about letting go of your inhibitions and having a blast with the cans!

Is the graffiti workshop safe?

We take safety seriously. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep your clothes clean. The workshop starts with a comprehensive safety briefing on how to handle the spray cans correctly. We use professional-grade paint in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially prepared indoor spaces to ensure a safe environment for all participants while they express their inner street artist.

What should I wear to the pop-up event?

Ideally, you should wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. While we provide full protective gear including overalls, sometimes a little 'creative mist' can find its way onto your trainers. Think casual and practical! Since Liepaja can be quite breezy being the 'City of Wind', bringing a hair tie or a light jacket is always a smart move for outdoor sessions.

How long does the workshop session last?

Typically, a pop-up graffiti experience in Liepaja lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, technique practice, and the creation of your final masterpiece. If you are planning a larger festival-style activation or a quick brand blast, we can adjust the timing to fit your specific schedule. We are flexible and want to make sure the flow works perfectly for your event.

Can you host workshops in other Latvian cities?

Yes, we love traveling! While we are focusing on Liepaja, we also host events in Riga, Daugavpils, Jelgava, and Jurmala. Our mobile setup allows us to bring the graffiti experience to almost any location in Latvia. Whether it's a beachside park, a parking lot, or a private courtyard, we can transform the space into a temporary street art studio for your group.

Is there an age limit for participants?

We generally recommend a minimum age of 8 years for our workshops, as the spray cans require a certain amount of finger strength and coordination. For younger kids, we can provide smaller cans or different creative activities. There is no upper age limit—we've had grandparents showing the youngsters how it's done! It’s a fantastic multi-generational activity that brings everyone together through vibrant colour and shared creativity.

How do I pay and what is your cancellation policy?

No upfront payment is required when you book your pop-up event with Graffitifun. We believe in our service and want you to feel confident. You can settle the payment after the workshop has concluded and everyone is happy with their work. If for any reason we need to reschedule, we have backup artists available to ensure your event goes ahead as planned without any stress.
