Frequently asked questions

Is the graffiti workshop safe for primary school children?

Safety is our number one priority! We provide high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our spray paints are low-odour and we always choose outdoor or well-ventilated locations. Our artists are experienced in working with primary-aged children and provide constant supervision to ensure every student uses the equipment correctly and stays safe while having the time of their lives.

Do the students need any prior art skills?

Not at all! Our Plovdiv workshops are designed specifically for beginners. We start with the basics of 'can control' and simple lettering. Our professional artists guide the students floor-by-floor (or wall-by-wall!) through the process. By the end of the session, even the kids who claim they 'can't draw' will be amazed at the professional-looking masterpiece they helped create.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide absolutely everything needed for a successful street art day. This includes a wide variety of coloured spray cans, safety masks, disposable gloves, protective suits, and the surfaces to paint on. We also bring practice boards or canvases so the children can take a piece of their art home. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and wear some old clothes!

How long does a typical school session last?

A standard primary school workshop in Plovdiv usually lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours. This is the 'sweet spot' for maintaining high energy and focus among younger children. We can also adapt the schedule to fit into a standard school morning or afternoon session, ensuring we pack in plenty of practice time and the final collaborative mural project.

Can we choose a specific theme for the mural?

Absolutely! We love it when schools have a specific theme, such as 'The Environment', 'Bulgarian History', or 'Friendship'. We can tailor the sketches and the final mural to reflect these values. It’s a fantastic way to combine creative arts with other subjects in the curriculum, making the learning experience even more memorable for the students.

What is the maximum group size for a school event?

We understand that school budgets and numbers vary. We can accommodate small classes or entire year groups. For larger groups, we bring in additional professional artists to ensure every child gets enough one-on-one guidance and hands-on time with the spray cans. We never want a child standing around waiting for their turn to be creative!

Do the children get to keep their artwork?

Usually, the kids will work together on a large communal mural which stays at the school or is created on a temporary surface. However, we often include a session where each student gets to create their own individual piece on a canvas or card. This means everyone gets to take a physical reminder of their graffiti adventure home to show their parents!
