  • Total confidence builder: Seeing a giant piece of art they helped create gives kids a massive sense of pride. 🏆
  • Safe self-expression: We provide a controlled, positive outlet for that youthful energy and rebellious spark. ✨
  • Teamwork in action: Creating a school mural requires collaboration, communication, and a whole lot of high-fives. 🤝
  • Zero-stress creativity: There are no 'mistakes' in graffiti, making it perfect for children who struggle with traditional art. 🎨
  • Authentic experience: They learn from real, professional artists who live and breathe the street art culture. 🎤

How it works

  1. Concept and planning: We chat with your teachers to choose a theme, whether it represents school values, a local Wroclaw legend, or just pure ಕಿಡ್ದ್-ವಿದ್ ಶೈಲಿ (creative fun).
  2. Safety briefing: Our artists arrive and set up the 'safe zone', helping every student suit up in their protective gear and masks.
  3. The history of spray: A quick, engaging intro into how graffiti evolved from ancient marks to the vibrant street art seen round the Nadodrze district.
  4. Sketching the vision: Students grab markers and paper to plan their tags and shapes, learning about letter structure and flow.
  5. Can control 101: We head to the boards! Kids learn how to handle the spray cans, control pressure, and create different line widths safely.
  6. Outline and fill: The colourful part begins! Students fill in their designs using a rainbow of professional-grade spray paints.
  7. Adding the 'Pop': Our pros show them how to add highlights and 3D shadows to make their artwork jump off the wall.
  8. The final reveal: We step back for a group photo and a celebration of the epic new mural created by the class.

Frequently asked questions

Is the graffiti workshop safe for primary school children?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for every student. Our spray paints are low-odour and we strictly host primary school workshops in well-ventilated outdoor areas or dedicated spaces. Our professional artists are experienced in managing groups of children, ensuring a supervised, structured, and completely safe environment for everyone to explore their creativity without any risks.

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

Wroclaw’s weather can be a bit unpredictable, but the fun doesn't have to stop! If the forecast looks rainy, we can usually move the workshop to a covered outdoor area or use large indoor canvases with specialised water-based, low-odour paints that are safe for indoor use. Alternatively, we offer flexible rescheduling options to ensure your students get the best possible experience under the sun.

What should the students wear for the graffiti session?

We recommend that students wear comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little bit of 'artistic' splash on. While we provide full-body protective suits and gloves, sometimes a stray drop of paint can find its way onto a shoe or a sleeve. Think of it as a creative uniform! Ideally, choose old trainers and comfortable trousers so children can move freely while they paint.

How long does a typical school workshop last?

A standard primary school workshop in Wroclaw typically lasts between 90 minutes and 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance to keep younger children engaged without them losing focus. We start with a brief history and safety talk, move into sketching and practice, and spend the bulk of the time on the actual spray painting. It fits perfectly into a morning or afternoon school session.

Do we need to travel to a specific location in Wroclaw?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop directly on your school premises in Wroclaw if you have a suitable outdoor wall or open space. If not, we can arrange for the session to take place at one of the city's legal graffiti zones or a creative hub. We bring all the necessary equipment to you, making it a hassle-free 'incursion' for your teaching staff.

Do the children need any prior drawing or art skills?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for absolute beginners. Our professional artists guide the students through every single step, from holding the can correctly to mastering basic shapes. We find that children who think they aren't 'artistic' often thrive in graffiti because it’s so physical and different from traditional classroom drawing. Everyone leaves with a sense of accomplishment and a cool piece of art.

Can the children take their artwork home with them?

We offer two main options for schools. Students can work together on a large, collaborative mural that stays at the school as a permanent piece of community art. Alternatively, each child can work on their own individual canvas or board, which they can take home the very same day. Both options are hugely popular and provide a fantastic tangible memory of their spray-painting experience.
