How it works

Introduction & Safety: We kick things off with a quick intro to the history of street art and a vital safety briefing on how to use the gear properly. 🛡️
Mastering the Can: Our artists demonstrate different nozzle types (caps) and how to control pressure to create thin lines, thick fades, and 'dusty' effects. 💨
Sketching your Vision: Before hitting the wall, you'll sketch out your design. Whether it's a personal tag or a collaborative university logo, we help you refine the layout. ✍️
Outline & Fill: This is where the magic happens! You'll start by outlining your piece and learning how to fill in large areas efficiently without drips. 🎨
Adding the 'Pop': We teach you 'second outlines', highlights, and shadows—the professional tricks that make your graffiti jump off the surface! ✨
Collaborative Finale: For the final stage, everyone works together to add background elements, bubbles, or stars to create a cohesive campus masterpiece. 🤝
Photo Ops & Cleanup: We wrap up with a photoshoot of your crew and their work. We handle all the cleanup, leaving the site as tidy as we found it. 📸

Frequently asked questions

Do we need to be good at art to enjoy the workshop?

No prior experience or 'artistic' talent is needed! Our professional graffiti artists are experts at teaching beginners from scratch. We start with the basics of spray control and lines before moving on to letters and filling. Most students are shocked at how much they can achieve in just two hours—it's all about technique and having the guts to try something new.🎨

What safety equipment do you provide for students?

Safety is our priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks (FPP3), protective overalls, and gloves to keep everyone safe and clean. We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and old trainers you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on. The spray cans we use are professional-grade but easy to handle, ensuring a safe environment for all Artigas university students.🛡️

Can the workshop take place on our university campus?

Absolutely! We offer flexible setups. We can host the workshop at a dedicated outdoor location in Artigas, or if the university permits, we can set up temporary plastic-wrapped walls on your campus for a live event feel. We always ensure the area is well-ventilated and that we leave 'no trace' other than the amazing art created by your students.🏫

What kind of university events is this suitable for?

Our graffiti workshops are incredibly popular for student orientations, end-of-exam blowouts, society social mixers, and even mental health awareness days. It's a fantastic way to de-stress, bond with peers outside the lecture hall, and build a sense of community. Plus, it creates a visual legacy of the student body's creativity that day!✨

How long does a typical student workshop last?

Standard university sessions usually run between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This gives everyone enough time to learn the spray techniques, sketch their ideas, and complete a final piece. For larger festival-style campus events, we can also run 'walk-in' style sessions where students rotate through over a longer period. We can tailor the timing to fit your specific schedule.⏱️

Is there a maximum number of students who can participate?

We are very flexible with group sizes! We can accommodate small student clubs of 10 people or large-scale university events with 100+ participants. For larger groups, we bring in extra artists and set up multiple 'graffiti zones' to ensure everyone gets plenty of time with a spray can and professional guidance. The more, the merrier!🔥

How does the booking and payment process work?

We operate with a 'no upfront payment' policy. You can book your date and confirm the details with us, and the payment is only handled after the workshop has been successfully completed. This makes it easy for university treasurers and student unions to manage their budgets without stress. We also have backup artists available to ensure your event never gets cancelled.🙌
