How it works

  1. Introduction & Demo: Meet our local street artists who will show you the ropes and explain the different types of nozzles (caps) and spray techniques.
  2. Concept Sketching: Grab a marker and some paper to plan your design. Whether it's a classic tag or a 3D block piece, we’ll help you refine your vision.
  3. Safety Gear Up: Suit up in our protective overalls, gloves, and masks. Safety first, style second!
  4. First Lines: Head to the canvas and start with your 'outline'. This is where you get a feel for the pressure of the spray can.
  5. Filling & Fading: Learn how to fill in large areas and create those iconic graffiti gradients and colour blends.
  6. The Outline: Re-trace your work with a sharp, contrasting colour to make the design 'pop' off the wall.
  7. Highlights & Details: Add the final touches, flashes, and 'shine' to give your work that professional street art finish.
  8. Group Photoshoot: Pose with your masterpiece! It’s time to capture those memories for your Instagram or faculty newsletter.
  9. Clean Up & Wrap: We handle the mess while you enjoy the post-creative glow with your fellow students.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

Absolutely! Most of our university participants in Iasi have never touched a spray can before. Our professional artists start with the basics, including safety, can control, and nozzle types. We guide you through the sketching phase all the way to the final highlight. You’ll be amazed at the masterpiece you can create by the end of the session!

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need for a successful creative session. This includes high-quality spray paint in a huge variety of colours, protective overalls, gloves, and professional-grade masks. We also provide the canvases or boards you'll be painting on. Just make sure to wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit of dust on.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

Standard university workshops usually last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, individual sketching, and the final painting process. If you have a specific schedule or a larger student union event, we can adapt the timing to fit your needs perfectly.

Is the spray paint safe to use for students?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low-pressure spray cans which are easier to control and provide professional FFP2 masks to ensure no fumes are inhaled. Our workshops are ideally held in well-ventilated outdoor spaces or large indoor halls with high ceilings. Our instructors are trained to manage groups safely while keeping the atmosphere fun and relaxed.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We are extremely flexible! Whether you have a small group of 10 friends or a massive university integration event for 100+ students, we can handle it. We have a large team of backup artists available to ensure that even large-scale bookings run smoothly without compromising on the individual attention each student receives.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day?

In the rare event of rain in Iasi, we have several options. We can move the workshop to a covered outdoor area, use an indoor ventilated space, or reschedule to a better day. Because we don't require upfront payments, we can stay flexible and ensure your group gets the best possible experience without any financial stress.

Can we create a custom mural for our faculty?

Yes! One of the coolest parts of our university workshops is that we can create a collaborative mural. You can work together to spray an 'Iasi University' piece or a design that represents your specific faculty or student society. It’s a brilliant way to decorate a campus space or create a portable souvenir for your student hub.
