Why choose us in Bratislava?

Why choose a graffiti project for your youth group in Bratislava? It’s more than just painting; it’s about building community and self-esteem. Here’s why it works:

Creative Outlet: Offers a non-traditional way for young people to express their thoughts and identity.
Team Building: Working on a large-scale mural requires communication, planning, and cooperation.
Legal Awareness: we teach the importance of legal street art, helping to reduce unsanctioned tagging in the city.
Skills Development: Participants learn spray control, colour theory, and scale—valuable skills for any aspiring artist.
Zero Risk Booking: With our "pay after" policy and backup artist guarantee, your project is in safe hands.
Instant Results: There is nothing like the pride of seeing a giant, colourful mural finished in just a few hours.

How it works

Intro and history: We kick things off with a brief look at the evolution of graffiti from New York subways to Bratislava’s modern street art scene.
Design brainstorming: You’ll grab a sketchbook and pencil to brainstorm themes that matter to your group, creating a rough draft of your collective masterpiece.
Technical demo: Our pro artists show you the ropes, demonstrating how to hold the can, control the pressure, and swap nozzles for different linework styles.
Practising the lines: Before hitting the final wall, everyone gets a chance to practice basic shapes and tags on a practice surface to get a feel for the spray paint.
Outline and fill: The youth group begins the main project, laying down the outlines of the design and filling in large areas with vibrant colours.
Shadows and highlights: We teach you how to add 3D effects, shadows, and 'shines' to make the artwork pop off the wall and look professional.
Final outlines: The 'cut-in' phase where we use black or a dark colour to sharpen the edges and make the design clean and crisp.
Photo session: We wrap up by taking group photos in front of the finished mural—a perfect memory of what the team achieved together.
Clean and pack: Our team handles all the site cleanup, leaving the area spotless while you take your new skills home!

Frequently asked questions

Is the graffiti workshop safe for teenagers?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective gloves, and overalls to all participants in Bratislava. Our professional artists lead every session with a comprehensive safety briefing, ensuring that the youth are supervised at all times. We use low-odour professional spray paint designed for ease of use, making it a safe and controlled environment for creative expression.

How long does a typical youth workshop last?

Our youth project workshops in Bratislava typically last between 1.5 and 2.5 hours. This timeframe allows enough room for an introduction to street art history, a sketching session where they plan their designs, and plenty of hands-on time with the spray cans. We find this duration perfectly balances engagement with the physical demands of painting, ensuring everyone remains focused and energised throughout the project.

Do participants need prior artistic experience?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, from complete beginners to those who have an interest in art. Our instructors are experts at breaking down complex techniques into simple, manageable steps. We focus on the 'fun' in Graffitifun, encouraging participants to express themselves freely rather than worrying about perfect technical execution right from the start.

Where do the workshops take place in Bratislava?

We can host youth projects at several vibrant legal graffiti locations across Bratislava, or we can bring the mobile workshop to your specific youth centre or community space. If we come to you, we use large mobile plastic canvases or wooden panels and ensure the surrounding area is fully protected. This flexibility allows us to integrate street art into your existing local community infrastructure easily.

What materials are included in the workshop package?

We provide everything needed for a successful street art experience. This includes a wide variety of professional spray paint colours, caps (nozzles) for different effects, sketching materials, and all necessary protective gear. You don't need to bring anything except your enthusiasm and clothes you don't mind getting a little dusty! We handle the setup and the intensive cleanup afterwards.

What is the maximum group size for a youth project?

We are very flexible with group sizes. While we typically work with groups of 10 to 30 young people to ensure everyone gets individual attention, we can accommodate larger groups by bringing in additional backup artists from our team. If you have a particularly large youth organisation in Bratislava, just let us know, and we will scale the project accordingly to fit your needs.

How do we book a session for our youth group?

Booking is simple and risk-free. You can contact us via our website to check availability for your preferred date in Bratislava. We don't require any upfront payment – you only pay after the workshop is successfully completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the service before any transaction occurs. We also have backup artists ready to step in, so your event is never cancelled.
