Why choose us in Debrecen?

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your next youth initiative? It's about more than just spray paint—it's about connection! 🔥

  • Total self-expression: Graffiti gives young people a powerful voice in a world that often overlooks them. 💪
  • Teamwork in action: Cooperating on a massive wall mural builds communication skills like nothing else. 🤝
  • Confidence boost: Seeing a giant, colourful creation finished in just a few hours provides instant pride. 🏆
  • Safe & legal: we teach the difference between vandalism and street art in a controlled, professional environment. 🛡️
  • Pro guidance: Our artists aren't just painters; they are mentors who speak the language of the youth. 🎤
  • Memorable results: The photos and memories (and sometimes the canvases!) last a lifetime. 📸

How it works

  1. Intro & inspiration: We start with a high-energy intro to the history of graffiti and street art culture.
  2. Safety first: Everyone gets geared up with masks, gloves, and overalls while we cover basic safety rules.
  3. Sketching your ideas: Participants grab paper and markers to design their tags or 'pieces' under artist guidance.
  4. Cap & can control: Learn the 'science' of spray cans—how to use different caps for thin lines or fat fills.
  5. The practice run: We start on a temporary surface to get the feel of the pressure and distance.
  6. Layering & filling: Learn how to apply vibrant colours and smooth gradients to make the art pop.
  7. Outlining & shines: Master the final touches—adding sharp outlines and 'force fields' for that professional look.
  8. Group photo & cleanup: We capture the final masterpiece with the whole crew before packing up.
  9. Takeaway: If we worked on canvases, everyone gets to take their individual art home!

Frequently asked questions

Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! No prior painting experience is needed for our youth projects in Debrecen. Our professional artists are expert mentors who guide everyone from total beginners to creative pros. We start with the basics of can control and safety, ensuring every participant feels confident before they start their masterpiece. It's all about the joy of creating something new and expressing your unique personality through street art!

Is the workshop safe for young people?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality FFP2 masks, protective gloves, and disposable overalls to keep everyone safe and clean. We use professional-grade spray paint and conduct our workshops in well-ventilated outdoor or indoor spaces. Our instructors are trained to manage groups of young people, ensuring that the cans are used responsibly while maintaining a fun and high-energy atmosphere throughout the session.

How long does a typical graffiti session last?

A standard youth project workshop in Debrecen typically lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This gives us enough time for an introduction to graffiti history, a sketching phase, a practice session on plastic film, and the final creation on a wall or canvas. We can also adapt the duration to fit into a wider community event or school schedule if you have specific timing requirements.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything! Your booking includes premium spray cans in a huge variety of vibrant colours, caps, protective gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the painting surface (either a legal wall or large canvases). We even bring the inspiration! Participants just need to wear comfortable clothes they don't mind getting a little dusty, even though we provide overalls for maximum protection.

Where in Debrecen do the workshops take place?

We are incredibly flexible. While we have several 'legal' street art spots in Debrecen where we can work, we can also bring the workshop to you! If you have a school yard, a community centre garden, or an indoor hall with good ventilation, we can set up our mobile 'cellophane walls' to create an instant pop-up street art gallery anywhere in the city.

What happens if it rains on the day?

Rain won't stop the creativity! If the weather looks bad for an outdoor session, we have a few options. We can move to a sheltered indoor location using low-odour paints or water-based markers, or we can use our backup artist system to reschedule the event for a sunny day at no extra cost. We always have a 'Plan B' to ensure your youth project goes off without a hitch.

Do we have to pay in advance?

No, we don't require any payment upfront! We believe in the quality of our workshops, so you only pay after the event is completed and everyone is happy. This makes the booking process stress-free for youth leaders and organisers. Once you're satisfied with the creative results and the smiles on the participants' faces, we'll handle the invoice. It's our '100% Fun Guaranteed' policy!
