How it works

  1. Introduction & Demo: We kick things off with a high-energy intro, showing off some pro techniques and talking about the history of street art.
  2. Safety First: Everyone gets suited up in protective gear and learns the essential do's and don'ts of using spray cans safely.
  3. Mastering the Can: Our artists teach the basics, like how to control pressure, create thin lines, and fill in large areas without drips.
  4. Sketching the Concept: Participants brainstorm their ideas and sketch out their designs on paper or directly on the canvas with guidance.
  5. First Strokes: Time to hit the wall! Everyone starts applying their base colours and getting a feel for the medium.
  6. Adding Detail: This is where the magic happens! We teach how to add highlights, shadows, and sharp outlines to make the art pop.
  7. The Final Polish: Our pros help the youth add those finishing touches that turn a good piece of art into a great one.
  8. Group Photos: We celebrate the hard work with a photoshoot in front of the completed masterpiece—the perfect memory for the crew.

Frequently asked questions

Is the graffiti workshop safe for young people?

Absolutely! At Graffitifun, safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our professional instructors in Iasi are highly experienced and provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. We use professional-grade materials and ensure the workshop takes place in a well-ventilated or outdoor environment to keep everyone happy and healthy while they create.

Do participants need to have any prior art skills?

Zero experience is required! Most of our youth project participants have never held a spray can before. Our workshops are designed to be inclusive and beginner-friendly. Our expert artists will guide everyone through the basics, from simple lines to complex shading. We focus on the process and the fun of creation, ensuring that everyone walks away with a piece of art they can be proud of, regardless of their starting skill level.

Where in Iasi do these workshops take place?

We are totally flexible! We can host the workshop at a cool outdoor spot in Iasi, or we can come to your specific youth centre, school, or community hub. If you don't have a venue, don't worry—we can help find a suitable location. We just need a space with good ventilation and enough room for your group to move around and get creative. We take care of all the surface preparation and cleanup.

How long does a typical session last?

A standard youth project workshop usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a proper introduction, a safety talk, some practice sessions, and the creation of a final masterpiece. We can also adapt the duration to fit your specific schedule or event needs. Whether it's a quick high-energy session or a full afternoon of immersive art, we’ll make it work for your group.

What materials are included in the price?

We've got you covered! Graffitifun provides everything needed for the session. This includes a wide variety of premium spray paint colours, caps, protective clothing (suits, gloves, masks), and the canvases or surfaces for the art. You don't need to bring any supplies at all. Just show up in some comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a tiny bit dusty, and we handles the rest.

What is the maximum group size for a youth project?

We work with groups of all sizes! Whether you have a small crew of 10 or a large youth organisation with 50+ participants, we can scale the experience. For larger groups, we bring in extra professional artists to ensure every participant gets individual attention and guidance. Our goal is to make sure nobody is left standing around; everyone gets to be active and hands-on with the paint throughout the workshop.

How do we book and when do we pay?

Booking is easy and stress-free! You can start by requesting a free quote via our website. Once we've agreed on the date, time, and group size, we'll lock it in. The best part? You don't need to pay anything upfront. You only pay after the workshop is completed and you're 100% satisfied with the experience. We also have backup artists ready to go, so you never have to worry about last-minute cancellations.
