Do I need any previous art experience to join?

Absolutely! Our Surabaya indoor workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Our pro artists will guide you through everything from how to hold a spray can to more advanced shading techniques. You don't need any prior drawing skills to walk away with a piece of art you're proud of. We make sure everyone feels confident and creative!

What should I wear to the workshop?

We've got you covered. We provide high-quality masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep your clothes clean. However, spray paint can be cheeky, so we always recommend wearing 'work clothes' or something you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on just in case. Better safe than sorry while you're getting your glow on!

Is it safe to spray paint indoors?

Safety is our top priority. We use low-odour, professional-grade spray cans and ensure our indoor venues in Surabaya are well-ventilated. We also provide full protective gear, including FFP2 or FFP3 masks. Our artists are trained to manage the session safely, allowing you to focus entirely on the fun and the art.

How long does the graffiti session last?

Our standard indoor party workshops in Surabaya typically last between 1.5 and 2 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief intro, a practice session on the boards, and then the main event: creating your final masterpiece. If you're looking for something more intensive, we can certainly customise the duration to fit your event schedule.

What materials are included in the package?

Everything is included! We bring the spray cans in a wide range of vibrant colours, caps, protective equipment, and the canvases or boards we'll be painting on. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and perhaps some ideas for what you'd like to create. We handle the setup and the cleanup so you don't have to.

What is the minimum and maximum group size?

We are very flexible! Whether you are a small group of friends celebrating a birthday or a large department looking for a unique indoor activity, we can accommodate you. For very large groups, we simply bring in more of our professional artists to ensure everyone gets personal attention and guidance throughout the experience.

How do I book and when do I pay?

Booking is simple! You can request a quote through our website with no upfront payment required. Once we've tailored the plan to your needs and group size, you're all set. We even have backup artists available to ensure your event goes ahead no matter what. You only pay after the workshop is complete and you're satisfied!

Ultimate self-expression: There are no rules in graffiti! It’s the perfect outlet to let your personality shine through in bright neon colours.

Step by step

The warm welcome: Your group meets our professional graffiti artist at our cool indoor venue in Surabaya. We start with a quick intro to the history of street art.
Safety first: We suit everyone up in protective gear—suits, gloves, and masks—to keep you clean and safe while you spray.
Can control 101: Learn the basics of how to handle the spray can. We’ll show you how to pull thin lines, fill large areas, and create cool effects.
The sketch phase: Grasp the markers and sketch out your design. Whether it's your name in 'wildstyle' or a funky character, the choice is yours!
First layers: Start bringing your sketch to life on the canvas. Our artists walk around giving 1-on-1 tips to help you perfect your technique.
Adding the details: This is where the magic happens. We’ll teach you how to add highlights, shadows, and that iconic "3D" look to make your art pop.
The final outline: Put the finishing touches on your masterpiece with a sharp outline that brings the whole piece together.
Photo op: Strike a pose with your finished artwork! It’s the perfect moment for those Instagram shots before the paint dries.
Take it home: The best part? You get to take your creation home as a permanent souvenir of your epic Surabaya indoor party.

Local culture

Surabaya is well-known for its brave history and its thriving modern art scene. From the colourful murals in the Kampung Pelangi areas to the hidden street art gems near Jalan Tunjungan, the city breathes creativity. Our indoor workshops tap into this local 'Arek' spirit—bold, resilient, and full of life. We bring that authentic Surabaya street vibe into a controlled, air-conditioned indoor setting, perfect for dodging those sudden tropical downpours.

Fun Fact: Did you know Surabaya's name comes from the words 'Suro' (shark) and 'Boyo' (crocodile)? While we won't be painting any prehistoric battles, we definitely encourage you to bring that legendary local energy to your canvas! 🦈🐊

Whether you're visiting from Jakarta or Bandung, or you're a local looking for something fresh, our indoor party experience is the perfect way to soak up Surabaya's contemporary culture.
