Is the spray paint safe for participants with sensitivities?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour spray paint and provide all necessary protective gear, including masks, gloves, and aprons. Our instructors are experienced in managing different needs and ensure the environment is calm, controlled, and secure throughout the entire creative process. Plus, our paint is quick-drying to keep things mess-free.

How long does a typical session last?

While sessions usually run for about 2 hours, we are totally flexible! We understand that some groups might need more frequent breaks or a shorter, more intense session to keep engagement high. We can adjust the timing and the rhythm of the workshop to match the energy levels and attention spans of your specific group.

What should participants wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little 'colourful'. While we provide protective gear like aprons and gloves, graffiti is a hands-on art form, and the occasional stray drip or 'happy accident' can happen! It's all part of the authentic street art experience here in Surabaya.

Are all materials included in the price?

No hidden costs here! Our quotes are all-inclusive. This means you get the professional artist instructors, all the spray cans, protective gear, practice boards or canvases, and even the final cleanup. We bring everything needed to the location, so you can just focus on having an amazing time and getting creative.

Can people with limited mobility or motor skills participate?

Our workshops are designed to be highly inclusive. We focus on 'process over perfection', meaning everyone can contribute at their own level. Whether it's choosing a colour, spraying a large fills, or adding fine details, there is a role for everyone. We can also provide stencils to help those who might find freehand spraying a bit tricky.

Do I need to pay in advance?

You don't need to pay a single Rupiah upfront! We believe in the quality of our service and want you to feel confident in booking. You only pay after the workshop has been completed and you are 100% happy with the result. It’s our way of guaranteeing a stress-free and fun experience for everyone involved.

🔥 Sensory-friendly fun: The sound of the ball rattling, the feel of the pressure, and the vibrant colours provide a stimulating yet controlled sensory experience.
✨ Boosts confidence: Seeing a large-scale piece of art come together gives participants a massive sense of accomplishment and pride.
💪 Focus on ability: We adapt every technique so that everyone can participate, regardless of physical or cognitive challenges.
🎤 Expert guidance: Our Surabaya team isn't just talented at art—they are patient, encouraging, and trained to work with diverse needs.
🏆 Stress-free booking: With no upfront payment and a focus on 100% satisfaction, we take all the worry out of planning.
🎉 Uniquely modern: Leave the traditional finger painting behind and try something cool, urban, and exciting!

Step by step

Initial chat: We start by discussing your group's specific needs, triggers, and interests to tailor the session perfectly.
Safe setup: Our team arrives early to set up the 'canvas' (usually large wooden boards) and ensure a safe, ventilated working area.
Artist intro: Our friendly Surabaya-based artists introduce themselves and show some cool basic techniques in a low-pressure way.
Gear up: Everyone gets fitted with their protective masks and gloves—looking like real street art pros!
Colour selection: Participants choose their favourite vibrant shades from our wide range of professional spray cans.
Practice rounds: We start with some 'free-style' spraying to get used to the feel and pressure of the cans.
Creating the masterpiece: We work together on a large-scale mural or individual pieces, with artists providing as much or as little help as needed.
Photo op: Once the art is dry, we take group photos so everyone has a memory of their incredible creative achievement.
Easy cleanup: We pack everything up and leave the space exactly as we found it—except with more smiles!

Local culture

Surabaya, known as the 'City of Heroes', has a resilient and vibrant spirit that is perfectly reflected in its growing street art scene. From the colourful murals near the Kali Mas river to the hidden gems in the creative hubs of West Surabaya, this city is a canvas waiting to be explored. Our workshops tap into this local energy, providing a modern, urban experience that feels connected to the pulse of the city.

Fun Fact: Surabaya is home to some of Indonesia's most talented muralists! The city often hosts 'jamming' sessions where artists come together to revitalise old walls, proving that art is a community effort—just like our workshops.

We love bringing the cool, edgy vibe of Surabaya's street culture to groups who might not usually get to experience it, making sure everyone feels like a local hero for the day! 🎨
