What should we wear to an outdoor graffiti workshop?

For our outdoor parties in Eindhoven, we suggest wearing old clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a bit of 'character' (aka paint) on. While we provide high-quality protective overalls and gloves, graffiti is an energetic art form, and a stray mist of spray paint can sometimes find its way onto your sleeves or trainers. Think of it as a badge of honour from your creative session!

Do we need any previous art experience to join?

Not at all! Our professional graffiti artists are experts at guiding absolute beginners. We start with the basics of can control and safety before moving on to techniques like fading and outlining. By the time we start the main mural, you'll feel confident enough to create something awesome. It’s all about having fun and expressing yourself, not about being a gallery-ready pro on day one.

Where exactly in Eindhoven do the workshops take place?

Eindhoven has some fantastic legal street art spots, like the famous Berenkuil. We usually host our sessions at these inspiring outdoor locations to give you an authentic experience. If you have a specific private outdoor space in mind, we can also come to you! We'll confirm the exact meeting point during the booking process to ensure it's convenient for your group.

What happens if it rains on the day of our outdoor party?

The Dutch weather can be unpredictable, but we’ve got you covered! If the forecast looks truly dismal, we can often relocate to a sheltered outdoor spot or an indoor studio space in Eindhoven. Alternatively, we can reschedule the session for a better day. We always keep a close eye on the clouds to ensure your outdoor party stays upbeat and dry.

How long does a typical graffiti workshop session last?

Standard outdoor graffiti workshops typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for an introduction, technique practice, and the creation of a stunning final masterpiece. If you’re looking for a more intensive experience or have a very large group, we can customise the duration to fit your schedule perfectly. Just let us know what you need!

Is the spray paint safe to use for everyone in the group?

Safety is our top priority. We provide professional-grade FFP2 or FFP3 respiratory masks to ensure nobody inhales paint fumes, along with gloves and protective suits. Our artists give a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a spray can. Because we work outdoors in open-air environments in Eindhoven, there is excellent natural ventilation, making it a very safe and comfortable environment for everyone.

Local culture

Eindhoven isn't just a tech hub; it's a living canvas! Known globally for its design pedigree, the city hosts the world-famous Step In The Arena festival at the Berenkuil (The Bear Pit), one of Europe’s most iconic legal graffiti spots. When you join our workshop, you're stepping into a culture that embraces bold colours and industrial grittiness.

Fun Fact: Eindhoven is known as the 'City of Light', but its walls shine just as brightly thanks to the incredible street art found in the Strijp-S district and beyond! 💡
