Is the graffiti workshop safe for children?

Absolutely! Safety is our number one priority. We provide all participants with high-quality protective gear, including gloves and masks. Our professional artists are trained to supervise groups and ensure everyone uses the spray cans correctly. We choose well-ventilated outdoor spots or safe indoor environments in Eindhoven, making it a completely secure and Controlled environment for students to explore their creativity.

Do the kids need any prior drawing or art experience?

Not at all! Our 'After School' workshops are designed for all skill levels, from total beginners to budding young artists. Our instructors guide the group through the basic techniques of lines, filling, and shading before they even touch the wall. We focus on the 'fun' factor, ensuring every student walks away feeling proud of what they’ve created, regardless of their previous art experience.

What should the students wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing old clothes and sneakers that you don't mind getting a little 'artistic' touch on! While we provide protective overalls and gloves, graffiti paint is permanent, and a stray splash can happen when the creativity starts flowing. Think of it as your official artist's uniform for the afternoon. It’s better to be safe and comfortable while working on your masterpiece!

What happens if it rains on the day of the workshop?

In 'the City of Light', we are lucky to have some great sheltered spots, but if the weather really turns against us, we have backup plans! We can often move to a covered outdoor location or reschedule to a better day. We also have indoor options available depending on the group size. Our goal is to ensure the kids have the best possible experience without getting soaked!

How long does a typical afternoon session last?

Standard after-school sessions typically last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning the history and techniques, practicing your 'tag', and completing a full-scale piece. We find this timeframe keeps energy levels high and focus sharp, ensuring every student remains engaged and excited from the first spray to the final group photo.

Are the materials included in the price?

Everything is included! We provide the spray paint, caps, gloves, masks, and the surface to paint on (whether that's a legal wall or individual canvases). We also bring the expertise and the passion. You don’t need to worry about a thing; just bring your enthusiasm and your ideas, and we will take care of the rest of the logistics.

How much does an after-school workshop in Eindhoven cost?

The cost usually ranges between €25 and €55 per person, but this varies based on the number of participants and the specific setup you choose. Because we want to offer the best value for Eindhoven schools and youth groups, we recommend requesting a custom quote. Our pricing is transparent, and the best part is: you don't have to pay anything upfront!

Authentic Eindhoven vibe: We connect kids to the city’s world-famous street art heritage. 🏙️

Team building: Collaborative murals teach students how to work together towards a vibrant goal. 🤝

Step by step

Intro & inspiration: We start with a brief look at the history of street art and how Eindhoven became a graffiti hotspot.
The tag creator: Students brainstorm their own 'artist name' and sketch out their first professional-style tag on paper.
Safety first: We suit everyone up in protective gear and explain the golden rules of using spray cans safely and respectfully.
First lines: Under the guidance of a pro, kids learn how to handle the can, control the pressure, and create clean lines.
Mastering techniques: We move on to more advanced skills like 'filling', 'fading', and 'highlighting' to make the art pop.
Creating the piece: The group works together or individually to create a large-scale vibrant masterpiece on the wall or canvas.
Final touches: Our artists help the students add those crisp outlines and 'shines' that make the work look professional.
The big reveal: We step back to admire the collective work, discuss the techniques used, and snap some epic photos.
Clean up & high fives: We pack up the gear, leaving the site tidy, while the kids head home with a massive boost in creative confidence.

Local culture

Eindhoven isn't just about high-tech and Philips; it is a global destination for street art lovers. From the massive murals at Strijp-S to the legendary Berbe Kuil (the "Bear Pit"), the city breathes creativity. Our workshops tap into this local heritage, showing students that they are part of a long-standing tradition of innovation and visual storytelling in their own backyard. 🎨

Fun Fact: Eindhoven hosts 'Step in the Arena', one of the largest graffiti festivals in the world, where hundreds of international artists transform the Berbe Kuil into a rotating gallery of incredible art every year!

Our instructors are deeply connected to the Eindhoven scene, often participating in regional festivals and community projects. This means your students aren't just learning from "teachers"—they are learning from active contributors to the city's urban culture. We love showing the next generation why Eindhoven is one of the most colourful cities in the Netherlands! 🏆
