Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants with special needs?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, water-based spray cans for our indoor sessions and low-pressure cans for outdoor events. Safety is our number one priority, so we provide all necessary protective gear, including masks, gloves, and aprons. Our professional artists are also highly experienced in managing groups with different needs, ensuring a controlled, safe, and supportive environment for everyone involved throughout the entire session.

Can you accommodate participants with mobility or sensory issues?

We pride ourselves on being fully inclusive. Whether participants have physical disabilities, learning difficulties, or sensory sensitivities, we adapt our teaching style and equipment to suit them. We can set up canvases at various heights for wheelchair users and provide a quiet space if someone needs a break from the excitement. Just let us know your specific requirements when booking, and we will make it happen!

What is the age limit for this workshop in Eindhoven?

Generally, our special needs workshops are designed for participants aged 6 and up. Because graffiti is such a tactile and visual medium, it appeals to a wide range of ages. We tailor the complexity of the designs and the length of the session based on the age and attention span of the group, ensuring that everyone stays engaged and leaves with a smile.

Do we need any prior art experience to participate?

No artistic experience is needed at all! Our workshops are about expression and fun, not technical perfection. Our friendly Eindhoven-based artists will guide you through every step, from holding the can to creating cool effects. We focus on the 'doing' and the sensory experience of painting, making it a stress-free environment where there are no mistakes, only masterpieces.

Do I need to pay a deposit when I book?

Not at all! One of the best things about Graffitifun is our flexible booking policy. You don't need to pay anything upfront. We understand that plans can change, especially with special needs groups, so we allow you to pay after the workshop is completed. This keeps the process stress-free for organisers and ensures you are 100% happy with the experience first.

How long does a typical workshop last?

The workshops usually last between 1.5 to 3 hours. For our special needs programmes, we often recommend a shorter, more high-energy session of around 90 minutes to keep engagement levels high. However, we are completely flexible; if your group prefers a slower pace with more breaks, we can easily extend the duration to suit your specific group's rhythm and needs.

Where in Eindhoven do the workshops take place?

We can host the workshop at various creative hotspots around Eindhoven, or we can bring the entire setup to your location! If you have a school hall, a community centre, or even a spacious outdoor area, we’ll bring the paint, the boards, and the protection. This is often a great choice for special needs groups who feel more comfortable in a familiar local environment.

Expert Coaches: Our artists are not just talented; they are patient, encouraging, and experienced in working with diverse needs. 🏆
Sensory Engagement: The textures, colours, and even the sound of the spray can provide a wonderful sensory experience for participants.
No Stress Booking: With our 'pay afterwards' policy and backup artists always ready, your Eindhoven event is in safe hands.
Confidence Boost: There is no 'right or wrong' in graffiti, which helps build self-esteem and a sense of achievement. 🚀
Fully Mobile: We can bring the workshop to your familiar Eindhoven surroundings to help participants feel comfortable.
Tailored Pace: We adapt the rhythm of the day to ensure nobody feels overwhelmed and everyone has fun!

Step by step

Initial chat: We start by discussing your group's specific needs, interests, and any mobility or sensory requirements to tailor the day.
Arrival and welcome: Meet our friendly artists at your chosen Eindhoven location for a warm, low-pressure introduction to the world of street art.
Safety first: Everyone gets fitted with their 'artist gear'—protective suits, gloves, and masks—making sure everyone feels comfortable and safe.
The basics: Our pros demonstrate simple spray techniques, like making dots, lines, and filling in shapes, using easy-to-handle cans.
Design time: Participants choose their colours and start sketching out their ideas on the canvas or wall with expert guidance.
Spray and play: This is the best part! Everyone starts painting, experimenting with different pressures and angles to see the magic happen.
Final flourishes: We help add those professional touches, like outlines or 'highlights', to make the artwork really pop.
Group photo: We celebrate the achievements with a group photo in front of the finished masterpiece—a great memory to keep!
Takeaway: If we worked on individual canvases, everyone gets to take their own unique piece of Eindhoven street art home.

Local culture

Eindhoven is the perfect backdrop for a graffiti adventure! Known as the design capital of the Netherlands, this city breathes innovation and creativity. From the industrial vibes of Strijp-S to the world-famous 'Berenskuil' (the Bear Pit), Eindhoven has a deep-rooted love for street art. The Berenskuil is an open-air gallery where artists from all over the world come to paint, making it a source of endless inspiration for our workshop participants.

Fun fact: Eindhoven hosts 'Step in the Arena', one of the largest graffiti festivals in Europe! This means the city is used to the smell of fresh paint and the sight of vibrant murals, making it an incredibly welcoming place for budding artists of all abilities to try their hand at the craft. 🎨

Pricing

We believe in transparent, fair pricing to make street art accessible to everyone in Eindhoven. Our rates typically range from €25 to €55 per person. This variety accounts for the length of the session, the materials used, and the specific needs of your group.

The best part? You don't have to pay a penny until the workshop is over! We focus on the experience first. Because every special needs group has unique requirements, we recommend getting a tailored estimate.
