Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants with special needs?

Absolutely. We prioritise safety by providing high-quality protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our professional facilitators in Almere are trained to supervise the use of spray cans closely, ensuring a controlled environment. We also use low-odour paints where possible and ensure the workshop space has excellent ventilation to keep everyone comfortable and safe throughout the creative process.

How long does a typical session last?

We are incredibly flexible with timing. While a standard session lasts around two hours, we can easily break the workshop into shorter segments or extend the duration to allow for a slower pace. We understand that some participants may need more frequent breaks or extra time to get comfortable with the materials, and our artists are happy to accommodate those needs.

Do participants need to have any drawing skills?

No prior artistic experience is required at all! Our workshops are designed to be inclusive and accessible for everyone, regardless of their skill level. Our artists guide participants through simple techniques, from making basic dots and lines to filling in shapes. The goal is self-expression and enjoyment rather than creating a technical masterpiece, though the results are often quite stunning!

Where in Almere do the workshops take place?

We can host the workshop at one of our dedicated legal graffiti locations in Almere, or we can bring the experience to your facility. If we come to you, we set up professional mobile canvases and use protective floor coverings to ensure your space remains clean. Whether indoors or outdoors, we adapt the setup to suit your specific environment and accessibility requirements.

What are the payment terms for the workshop?

We believe in ultimate flexibility for our clients. You don't have to pay anything upfront when you book your workshop. We send the invoice after the session has been successfully completed. This ensures you are 100% satisfied with the experience we provided before any payment is made. It’s part of our commitment to being a reliable and stress-free partner.

What specific types of special needs can you accommodate?

Our workshops are designed for a wide range of abilities. We work with individuals with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, autism, and ADHD. By tailoring our communication style and the physical setup of the workshop—such as using tables for those who cannot stand for long periods—we ensure that everyone in the group can participate fully and enjoy the magic of street art.

What is the maximum group size for these sessions?

For our Special Needs workshops, we recommend smaller group sizes to ensure each participant receives the focus and encouragement they deserve. Typically, a ratio of one artist to every 10-12 participants works best, but we can adjust this based on the specific support requirements of your group. We can handle large groups by bringing in multiple backup artists from our professional team.

Local culture

Almere is a city built on the principles of modern design and forward-thinking urban planning, making it the perfect backdrop for contemporary street art. From the sleek architecture of the City Centre to the artistic vibes in Almere Buiten, there is an energy here that celebrates the new and the bold. Our workshops often take inspiration from the city's unique layout and its relationship with water and landscape. We tap into the local "Polder" pride, encouraging participants to reflect the bright, open spirit of Almere in their designs. By bringing graffiti to the local community, we contribute to the city's growing reputation as a hub for accessible culture and innovative social programmes.

Pricing

Our workshop pricing is designed to be as inclusive as our art sessions. Prices typically range from €25 to €55 per person, depending on the total number of participants, the duration of the workshop, and your chosen location in Almere. We believe in transparency and fairness, which is why we never ask for upfront payments—you only pay once the workshop is finished and you're happy with the results.
