Do I need any previous art experience to participate?

Absolutely no prior art experience is needed to enjoy our networking event in Almere. Our professional artists guide you through every step, from holding the spray can correctly to mastering stencil techniques. The creative process is designed to be accessible and fun, serving as a low-pressure way to break the ice with other professionals while you learn a new skill together.

What safety gear is provided during the workshop?

We provide all the necessary safety equipment for your peace of mind. Every participant receives high-quality nitrile gloves, protective overalls to keep your clothes clean, and professional-grade face masks. We prioritise your safety and comfort so you can focus entirely on making connections and creating art. We do recommend wearing comfortable shoes that you don't mind getting a little dusty.

How long does a typical networking event last?

The creative networking session typically lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This duration is perfectly balanced to allow for a comprehensive introduction to graffiti, ample time for hands-on painting, and dedicated windows for socialising and professional networking. We can also adapt the schedule to fit within a specific corporate timeframe or a larger event agenda you might have planned.

Can you host the event at our specific office location in Almere?

Yes, we are highly flexible with locations! While we have amazing partner spots throughout Almere, we can also bring the entire setup to your office courtyard, a local park, or a rented warehouse. We handle the protective flooring and coverings to ensure the venue remains spotless. Wherever you feel your network would most enjoy connecting, we can likely make it happen.

What is the booking process and payment policy?

Booking is simple and stress-free with Graffitifun. You can reach out via our contact form to discuss your group size and preferred dates. Best of all, we don't require upfront payments. You only pay after the event has successfully taken place. We also have backup artists on standby for every booking, ensuring your Almere networking event goes ahead no matter what.

What happens if the weather is bad on the day of the event?

Rain won't ruin your networking plans. If you've booked an outdoor session in Almere and the weather turns, we often have indoor alternatives or can set up professional canopy tents. Because we have a large network of local venues and flexible equipment, we can almost always ensure your team stays dry while the creative energy stays high. We’ll discuss all backup plans during the booking phase.

The experience

Why choose a graffiti networking event in Almere over a standard seminar? It’s about building real relationships through shared experience. Here is why it works:

Instant Icebreaker: The collaborative nature of street art removes social barriers and encourages natural conversation.
Memorable Branding: Create a physical piece of art that represents your collective industry goals or company vision.
Almere Focus: Connect with the local business community in a city known for its forward-thinking and innovative spirit.
Stress-Free Planning: No upfront payment, all materials included, and expert artist guidance from start to finish.
Professional Results: Our artists ensure the final piece looks fantastic, giving everyone a sense of collective achievement.

Step by step

Warm welcome and introduction: We start with a brief meet-and-greet where we introduce the artists and explain the plan for the day in a relaxed setting.
Concept brainstorming: Participants gather in small groups to discuss themes, professional goals, or brand values that they want to express through street art.
Safety and technique briefing: Our experts demonstrate how to use the spray cans, explain nozzle types, and hand out the protective gear.
Sketching the vision: Before hitting the "wall," you'll sketch out your ideas on paper, allowing for collaborative input from your fellow networkers.
First layers: You'll start applying the base colours to your canvas or wall, learning how to control pressure and distance for the best effect.
Guided creation: While you paint, our artists circulate to offer tips, while you naturally strike up conversations with the people working alongside you.
Adding the details: This is where you add highlights, outlines, and those unique touches that make the artwork pop.
The big reveal: We conclude by reviewing the collective masterpiece, allowing everyone to share insights about their work and exchange contact details.

Local culture

Almere is a city built on modern vision and bold architecture, making it the perfect backdrop for a contemporary networking event. From the sleek lines of the City Lounges to the creative hubs in Almere Haven, this city has always embraced the "new." Our workshops tap into this local spirit of innovation. We draw inspiration from the city's unique polder history and its evolving urban culture. As you work on your graffiti, you’ll be contributing to the same creative energy that has made Almere a rising star in the Dutch urban landscape. We love hosting events near the Weerwater or the architectural marvels of the city centre, providing an inspiring atmosphere that beats a boardroom any day of the week.
