How long does a typical graffiti birthday party last?

Most graffiti birthday parties in Philadelphia last between 1.5 to 2 hours. This provides the perfect balance of learning the history of street art, practicing can control, and completing a final masterpiece without the kids getting tired. If you have a larger group or want a more intricate mural project, we can easily extend the session to fit your schedule.

Is the graffiti workshop safe for children?

Safety is our top priority! We provide high-quality gloves and protective suits to keep clothes clean. We use low-pressure spray cans that are easier for kids to handle, and our professional artists provide constant supervision. For indoor venues, we ensure proper ventilation or use water-based cans. It's a controlled, creative environment where the only thing that gets wild is the art!

Do I need to provide the location in Philadelphia?

Ideally, we recommend an outdoor space with a wall or a fence where we can set up our mobile plastic film 'walls.' Philadelphia has many great parks and private spaces that work perfectly. If you don't have a spot, don't worry! We have access to several creative hubs and community spots around Philly where we can host the ultimate street art bash.

What is the minimum age for a graffiti party?

Absolutely! While we love hosting parties for kids and teens (usually ages 6 and up), graffiti is a hit for all ages. We often see parents getting in on the action too! We tailor the complexity of the techniques to the age group, ensuring that everyone feels like a pro by the time the session ends. No prior art experience is required!

What is included in the workshop package?

We handle everything so you don't have to! Your booking includes professional-grade spray paint in a rainbow of colors, protective gear (ponchos/gloves), painting surfaces (like large film walls or canvases), and expert instruction from a local Philly artist. We even bring some cool background music to set the creative vibe. You just bring the cake and the kids!

What happens if I need to cancel or change the date?

We know plans can change when you're a busy parent. That’s why we offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee and a flexible booking policy. You don't have to pay upfront; you can settle the balance after the workshop is completed. Plus, we have backup artists available to ensure your party happens no matter what. Your peace of mind is part of the fun!

Can the kids take their artwork home?

Our goal is for every child to leave feeling proud of what they created. After the main mural is finished, kids often get to take home their individual practice boards or canvases. It’s the ultimate party favor! A piece of custom Philadelphia street art made by their own hands is way better than a standard goodie bag.

Local culture

Philadelphia isn't just a city; it’s a living museum! Known as the "Mural Capital of the World," Philly has been a pioneer in street art culture since the 1970s. From the iconic murals of South Philly to the hidden tags of Fishtown, the city pulses with creative energy. Our workshops tap into this local spirit, teaching kids that graffiti isn't just about paint—it's about community and self-expression. We often draw inspiration from the city's legendary "Mural Arts" program, showing kids how art can transform a neighborhood.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Philadelphia is credited as the birthplace of modern graffiti? A legendary writer named "Cornbread" started the movement here in 1967, long before it took over New York City! ✨
