Do I need to have any artistic skills to participate?

Absolutely no art experience is required! Our onboarding workshops are designed specifically for beginners. Our professional artists will guide you through everything from how to hold the spray can to advanced layering techniques. We focus on fun and expression, so whether you can barely draw a stick figure or you're a seasoned doodler, you'll leave with a piece of art you're proud of.

Is the graffiti workshop safe?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective ponchos to keep your clothes clean. We use professional-grade spray paint in a well-ventilated outdoor or indoor environment. Our instructors provide a comprehensive safety briefing before anyone touches a can, ensuring a worry-free and creative environment for all ages and skill levels.

What should I wear to the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little bit of 'character' on. While we provide protective gear like ponchos and gloves, spray paint can be unpredictable in the wind. Avoid your favorite designer sneakers or expensive fabrics just to be safe. Think 'casual and ready to create'!

How long does a typical workshop last?

Standard workshops typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, practice time, and the creation of your final masterpiece. If you have specific time constraints for a corporate event or party, we can often adjust the duration to fit your schedule.

What materials are included in the price?

We provide everything you need to become a street artist for the day. This includes a wide variety of premium spray paint colors, caps (nozzles) for different effects, protective gear, and the 'canvas' (which could be a wall, a board, or a personal canvas depending on the package). Just bring your energy and creativity!

What happens if it rains on the day of my workshop?

Philly weather can be unpredictable! If we are scheduled for an outdoor session and it rains, we have a few options. We can often move the workshop to a covered outdoor area, utilize an indoor studio space, or reschedule for a better day. We also have backup artists available to ensure your event happens no matter what!

Can you accommodate large groups or corporate teams?

We are incredibly flexible! Whether you are a solo creator looking for a private lesson or a large corporate team of 100+, we can accommodate you. For very large groups, we bring in additional professional artists to ensure everyone gets hands-on instruction and a great experience. Every group size gets the same high-energy vibe.

Local culture

Philadelphia isn't just a city with murals; it’s widely considered the cradle of the modern graffiti movement, thanks to pioneers like Cornbread back in the '60s. Today, the city is a living museum, home to the world-renowned Mural Arts Philadelphia program. When you join our workshop, you aren't just spraying paint; you're connecting with a legacy that lives on every North Philly corner and South Street alleyway.

Fun Fact: Did you know Philadelphia has more murals than any other city in the US? It's often called the "City of Murals," with over 4,000 works of art decorating its walls! 🏆

Our workshops take place in authentic spots that capture that gritty, artistic Philly spirit. We celebrate the local style—bold, colorful, and full of heart—ensuring you feel like a true part of the "Philly style" scene by the time we're done.
