Do the children need any prior art experience?

Not at all! Our professional graffiti artists are experts at guiding beginners. We start with the basics of nozzle control and simple lines before moving on to the masterpiece. Most of the kids at a communion party in Petaling Jaya have never touched a spray can before, and by the end, they’re creating vibrant, impressive art. It’s all about the experience and having a blast with friends!

Will the kids get paint on their nice clothes?

Safety and cleanliness are our top priorities. We provide high-quality protective suits, gloves, and masks for every participant. While we use professional-grade spray paint, the protective gear ensures that those nice communion outfits stay clean. We also recommend that guests wear comfortable 'play clothes' underneath just to be extra safe while they unleash their inner street artist!

How long does the graffiti workshop typically last?

Standard communion party workshops usually last between 1.5 to 2.5 hours. This gives the group plenty of time to learn the techniques, practice their individual 'tags', and then collaborate on a large-scale mural or individual canvases. We can easily adjust the duration to fit into your party schedule between the lunch and the cake cutting!

Where in Petaling Jaya can the workshop take place?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at your home garden, a rented community hall in PJ, or even a local park (with permission). If you don't have a location, we can suggest several creative spaces around Petaling Jaya that are perfect for getting messy and artistic. Outdoor or well-ventilated indoor spaces work best for spray painting.

What is the minimum age for the graffiti workshop?

We generally recommend our workshops for children aged 6 and up, which fits perfectly with the age of communion celebrations. The spray cans are manageable for smaller hands, and our artists provide extra help to ensure everyone feels included and successful. It’s a fantastic way to keep a diverse group of cousins and friends entertained and engaged.

What materials are included in the party package?

Everything is included! We bring the professional spray paint in a huge variety of colours, protective gear (suits, masks, gloves), and the 'canvas' (which can be a large plastic wall, wooden panels, or individual canvases for the guests to take home). You just need to provide the space and the enthusiastic guests—we handle the rest of the setup and cleanup!

Do I need to pay a deposit to book the party?

One of the best parts about Graffitifun is our 'No Stress' booking policy. You don't need to pay anything upfront. You can book your date to secure our artists, and payment is only handled after the workshop is completed and everyone is happy. This ensures you have 100% peace of mind while planning your big celebration in PJ.

Safe & Professional: We provide all necessary safety gear and use high-quality materials.
No Risk: With our 'pay after' policy and backup artists, your event is in safe hands.

Step by step

Pick your date: Check your communion schedule and contact us to reserve your preferred time slot in Petaling Jaya.
Choose your canvas: Decide if you want the kids to work on one giant collaborative mural or individual canvases they can take home as party favours.
Artist arrival: Our pro graffiti artist arrives early at your PJ location to set up the protective floor coverings and prep the paint.
Safety briefing: We suit up all the guests in protective gear and explain how to use the spray cans safely and effectively.
Basic techniques: The workshop starts with a fun demonstration of 'can control', including how to make dots, thin lines, and fat flares.
Practice session: Everyone gets to practice their own 'tag' or nickname to get a feel for the pressure of the spray.
The masterpiece: Under our artist's guidance, the group works on the main artwork, adding layers, shadows, and highlights.
Final touches: We help the kids add those professional 'pops' to the art to make it look truly spectacular!
Photo op & cleanup: We take group photos with the finished art, then we handle the entire cleanup process so you don't have to.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Petaling Jaya has always been the cooler, artistic sibling to Kuala Lumpur. From the iconic street food at SS2 to the hidden gems in Section 17, PJ is a city that breathes character. In recent years, the street art scene here has exploded, with vibrant murals adorning the walls of the PJ State area and beyond. Bringing a graffiti workshop to your communion party taps into this local urban culture, giving the kids a chance to contribute to the city's creative spirit. ✨

Fun Fact: Did you know that Petaling Jaya was originally developed as a satellite town for KL? It’s now a city in its own right with some of the most diverse architecture and creative pockets in Malaysia, making it the perfect backdrop for a street art revolution! 🇲🇾

Whether you're hosting your celebration near the Sunway area or in the heart of Kelana Jaya, our artists bring the vibe of the PJ streets directly to your doorstep. We celebrate the local love for colour and expression, making sure every child feels like a PJ street art legend by the end of the day!
