Is the graffiti workshop safe for university students?

Safety is our top priority! We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits to keep everyone safe and clean. Our instructors start every session with a comprehensive safety briefing, covering proper can handling and ventilation. We use professional-grade low-pressure spray paint which is easier to control, ensuring a secure and comfortable environment for all university students and staff to express their creativity without any worries.

Do students need prior art experience to participate?

Not at all! Our workshops are designed for everyone, from complete beginners who have never touched a spray can to seasoned art students. Our professional artists guide you through the process step-by-step, starting with basic lines and shapes before moving on to more complex techniques. You'll be amazed at how quickly you can create something impressive with just a few expert tips and a bit of practice.

Where in Petaling Jaya can the workshop take place?

We are extremely flexible! We can host the workshop right on your campus if you have a suitable outdoor space or a well-ventilated indoor area with floor protection. If your campus doesn't have a spot, we can arrange for an inspiring street art location in or around Petaling Jaya. We handle all the logistics, including floor protection and clean-up, making it a hassle-free experience for your society or faculty.

How long does a typical workshop session last?

A standard university graffiti workshop usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This timeframe allows enough time for an introduction, technique practice, and the creation of a final collaborative masterpiece or individual canvases. If you have a specific schedule or a larger event like a campus festival, we can adapt the duration to fit your programme, offering shorter 'drop-in' sessions or extended deep-dive masterclasses.

Can students take their artwork home after the session?

Yes, we do! We can provide individual canvases so each student can take their own personal artwork home to decorate their dorm or apartment. Alternatively, many universities choose our large-scale collaborative murals where everyone works together on one giant piece of art. This is a fantastic way to create a lasting memory or a piece of decor for a common room or student union building!

What materials are provided in the workshop package?

Everything is included in our service! We provide the spray paint, caps, safety gear (masks, gloves, suits), and the painting surfaces (canvases or boards). We also bring along plastic sheeting to protect the ground and surroundings. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and some comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting a little bit of dust on. We take care of the heavy lifting and the clean-up!

How many students can participate in one session?

We generally recommend group sizes of at least 10 people for the best atmosphere, but we can accommodate much larger groups—even up to 100+ students for major university events! For very large groups, we bring in extra professional artists to ensure everyone gets personal guidance and plenty of time with the spray cans. Just let us know your expected numbers, and we'll scale the team and materials to match.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Petaling Jaya (or PJ to the locals!) has evolved from a satellite town into a buzzing creative hub. From the hidden gems in Section 17 to the modern vibes of Mutiara Damansara, PJ's urban landscape is the perfect backdrop for street art. The city’s youth culture is thriving, making it an ideal location for students to explore their artistic side outside the classroom.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Petaling Jaya was originally developed as a satellite town for Kuala Lumpur, but it has since grown its own unique identity with some of the best street food and creative spaces in Malaysia? 🎤

Our workshops tap into this local energy, connecting university students with the raw, urban pulse of the city. We bring that authentic 'street' feeling directly to your faculty or student union. 🔥
