Do we need any previous artistic skills to participate?

Absolutely no art experience is needed! Our professional graffiti artists are experts at guiding beginners. We start with the basics of nozzle control and various spray techniques. The goal of our Petaling Jaya team development sessions is collaboration and fun, not creating a museum masterpiece. You'll be surprised at how quickly your team picks up the skills to create something truly impressive together.

How long does a typical workshop last?

A standard team development workshop in Petaling Jaya usually lasts between 2 and 3 hours. This timeframe allows enough room for a safety briefing, a demonstration of techniques, individual practice, and the final collaborative mural project. If you have a specific schedule or are combining this with a meeting, we can often adjust the duration to fit your needs perfectly.

Is it safe, and what protective gear is provided?

Safety is our number one priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, protective overalls, and gloves for every participant. We also ensure the workspace in Petaling Jaya is well-ventilated. While our spray paints are professional-grade, following our artists' safety instructions ensures a completely safe and enjoyable environment for everyone involved. All you need to bring is your team spirit!

Can you bring the workshop to our office in Petaling Jaya?

We are very flexible! We can host the workshop at one of our partner urban art locations in Petaling Jaya, or we can come to your office if you have a suitable outdoor area or a very well-ventilated indoor space. If you're unsure about your venue, just let us know and we can help scout a location or suggest one of our tried-and-tested graffiti spots nearby.

What are the payment terms for the workshop?

At Graffitifun, we believe in flexibility and trust. You don't need to make an upfront payment to secure your team development booking. We focus on delivering a high-quality experience first. After the workshop is finished and your team is buzzing with creative energy, we will handle the administration and payment. It's a risk-free way to plan your next corporate outing!

What should our team wear on the day?

We recommend wearing comfortable, casual clothing and closed-toe shoes. While we provide protective overalls and gloves, please wear things you don't mind getting a tiny bit of paint on just in case. Street art is a hands-on activity, so leave the suits and formal wear at home and get ready to get a little bit messy for the sake of art!

Can we keep the artwork we create?

Yes, definitely! One of the best parts of our team development sessions is that the final mural is yours. If we work on transportable canvases or wooden panels, you can take them back to your Petaling Jaya office to hang in the lobby or breakroom. It serves as a fantastic, colourful reminder of your team's collaboration and the fun day you had together!

The experience

Why choose a graffiti workshop for your team development in Petaling Jaya? Because traditional icebreakers are a thing of the past! Graffiti is the ultimate equaliser—it levels the playing field and gets everyone out of their comfort zones in the best way possible. 💪

Boosts Communication: Teams must coordinate layouts and colours to create a cohesive mural.
Encourages Risk-Taking: Experimenting with a spray can builds confidence and creative problem-solving skills.
Stress Relief: There is something incredibly therapeutic about the hiss of a can and the flow of paint.
Tangible Results: You'll have a massive, colourful masterpiece to show for your hard work! 🏆
Total Inclusivity: It doesn't matter if you're the CEO or an intern; everyone starts with a blank wall.

Step by step

Initial briefing: We start with a high-energy kick-off where our artists introduce the world of street art and safety protocols.
Concept brainstorming: Your team works together to brainstorm themes, slogans, or values they want to incorporate into the mural.
Technique demo: Our pros show you the ropes—literally. You'll learn about different nozzles (caps), fading, and outlining.
Individual practice: Everyone gets their own space to practice basic strokes and get a feel for the spray can pressure.
The big sketch: We help the team outline the master design on the main wall or canvas based on your earlier ideas.
Colouring & filling: The team divides tasks to fill in the colours, working on communication to ensure the pieces fit together.
Adding the details: Sharp outlines, highlights, and 'force fields' are added to make the artwork pop and look professional.
The final reveal: We step back to admire the collective masterpiece, followed by a team photo and a debrief on the collaboration process.
