Is this workshop suitable for children and beginners?

Absolutely! Our cultural workshops in Differdange are designed for everyone, from primary school children to seniors. We adjust our teaching style to match the age and skill level of the group. Whether you've never touched a spray can or you have some artistic experience, our professional artists will guide you through the process, ensuring everyone creates something they are proud of and has a blast doing it.

What should we bring to the graffiti workshop?

We provide all the professional equipment you need for a creative session. This includes high-quality spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective gloves, masks, and overalls to keep your clothes clean. We also provide the canvases or boards for your final masterpiece. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm and some comfortable shoes you don't mind getting a little paint on—just in case!

Are the spray paints safe for health and the environment?

Safety is our number one priority. We use low-odour, professional-grade spray paint and provide all necessary safety gear, including high-quality masks and gloves. Our workshops are held in well-ventilated outdoor areas or specially prepared indoor spaces. Our artists are trained professionals who supervise every step of the process, ensuring a secure environment where everyone can express their creativity without any worries.

Where do the workshops actually take place in Differdange?

We can host workshops at various locations in Differdange. We often work with local cultural hubs or use mobile graffiti walls at a location of your choice, such as a school yard or a company car park. If you don't have a spot in mind, we can help find the perfect 'legal wall' or creative space to suit your group size and the vibe of your event.

What happens if we need to cancel or change our booking?

We understand that plans can change, especially for large cultural events. Unlike many other providers, we don't require an upfront payment. You can book your date and pay after the workshop is completed and everyone is happy. We also have a roster of backup artists to ensure your event goes ahead even if an instructor falls ill. Your creative experience is guaranteed with us!

How long does a typical graffiti experience last?

A standard cultural graffiti session usually lasts between 1.5 to 3 hours. This gives us enough time for a brief history of street art, a demonstration of techniques, plenty of practice on the practice walls, and the final creation of your own artwork. If you are planning a larger festival or a multi-day event, we can customise the duration to fit your specific schedule and goals.

Step by step

The warm welcome: Meet your pro graffiti artist at the venue. We’ll kick things off with some cool stories about the history of street art and how it evolved from the streets to the world's top galleries.
Safety first: We suit you up in protective gear—gloves, masks, and overalls. Safety is boring but essential so we can get to the fun stuff without the mess!
Spray can basics: Learn how to hold the can, control the pressure, and swap nozzles (caps) for different effects like skinny lines or fat fills.
The practice run: Head to the practice wall! This is your time to experiment. Draw lines, shapes, and get a feel for how the paint flows. Don't worry about mistakes; that's how you learn.
Design your tag: Every artist needs a signature. We’ll help you sketch out your own unique 'tag' or nickname and teach you the flow of graffiti lettering.
Masterpiece creation: Now it’s time for the main event. You'll apply your new skills to your final canvas or board, creating a vibrant piece of art to call your own.
The final polish: Our artists will show you how to add highlights, shadows, and '3D' effects to make your piece really pop off the background.
Group photo and gallery: We’ll line up all the finished artworks for a mini-exhibition and snap some photos of you and your crew with your creations.

Good to know

Duration: Sessions typically run for 2 to 3 hours, but we can scale up for day-long festivals.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Differdange, often referred to as the 'City of Iron', has a history rooted in the steel industry that has evolved into a modern cultural powerhouse. This transition from industrial giant to creative hub makes it the ultimate playground for graffiti lovers. The contrast between the historic steelworks and the fresh, colourful street art popping up around the city creates a unique aesthetic you won't find anywhere else in Luxembourg.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Differdange is home to the '1535° Creative Hub'? It’s a massive space dedicated to innovation and the arts, proving that this city is truly the soul of Luxembourg’s creative future!

Our workshops celebrate this local spirit, blending the raw energy of urban art with the welcoming community vibe of the south. We love connecting with other nearby creative scenes in Esch-sur-Alzette and Dudelange to keep the Luxembourgish street art scene thriving and connected.

Pricing

Our cultural graffiti experiences are tailored to your needs, ensuring you get the best value for your event. Prices typically range from €35 to €70 per person, depending on the number of participants and the specific materials required for your custom setup.
