Can you perform live painting indoors at a venue?

Absolutely! We use high-quality, low-odour water-based spray paints for indoor live painting in Rhodes. These professional cans are designed to be used in ventilated indoor spaces without leaving a heavy scent or messy residue. We also provide protective floor coverings and screens to ensure the only thing getting painted is the canvas. It is a clean, safe, and visually spectacular way to liven up a hotel ballroom or convention centre.

How long does a live painting session typically last?

We recommend a minimum of 2 hours for a high-impact piece, but we can stretch the performance across an entire day or evening event. For multi-day festivals or large-scale brand activations, we can coordinate a schedule where the mural evolves over several sessions. Our goal is to sync the peak of the creative process with your event's highlight moments, ensuring maximum guest engagement throughout the timeline.

Can our guests actually participate in the painting?

Yes! One of the coolest parts of our Rhodes live painting service is the 'Interactive Mural' option. While our pro artist handles the complex design, we can set aside specific areas where your guests can pick up a can and add their own flair under our guidance. It’s a fantastic way to break the ice and get everyone feeling like they are part of the artistic process.

What kind of designs can the artist create?

Pretty much anything you can imagine! We love incorporating company logos, event themes, or local Rhodes imagery like the Colossus or the medieval Old Town. Before the event, we’ll chat with you about your vision and provide a rough sketch or mood board. Whether you want something abstract and colourful or a detailed representational piece, our artists have the skills to pull it off.

Do we need to provide the materials or the canvas?

We’ve got it all covered. Graffitifun provides the professional-grade spray paint, caps, safety gear, and the artist. We can also provide the 'canvas'—whether that is a large wooden partition, a stretched canvas, or even a vehicle. All we need from you is a designated space to work and, if it’s an evening event, some decent lighting so the crowd can see the magic happening!

What happens to the artwork after the event ends?

The final artwork is yours to keep! Many of our Rhodes clients choose to display the finished piece in their office, shop, or home as a permanent memory of the event. If the mural was painted on a temporary partition, we can help advise on how to move or store it. It’s a unique, custom-made piece of art that serves as a lasting legacy of your special occasion.

How far in advance should we book?

We suggest booking as early as possible, especially during the busy summer season in Rhodes (May to September). However, thanks to our large network of backup artists, we can often accommodate last-minute requests. Even if your event is only a few weeks away, get in touch! We hate saying no to a creative opportunity and will do our absolute best to make it work for you.

The experience

Why choose a live painting performance for your Rhodes gathering? It’s about more than just paint on a wall; it’s about creating a shared experience that sticks with people long after the paint has dried. Here’s why it’s a total game-changer:

Dynamic energy: It’s "living art"—the constant movement and changing colours keep the atmosphere buzzing with excitement. 🎨
Social media magnet: Guests can't help but snap photos and videos of the progress, giving your event instant organic reach online. 📱
Fully bespoke: We tailor the artwork to match your colour scheme, logo, or event message so it feels 100% "you". ✨
Professional & reliable: With years of experience and backup artists on standby, we guarantee a flawless performance every time. 💪
Unique souvenir: You’re left with a high-quality piece of art that can be displayed in your office or home forever. 🏆

Step by step

Initial consultation: We chat about your event vibes, location in Rhodes, and what kind of masterpiece you're dreaming of.
Design concept: Our artist drafts a concept that incorporates your brand, theme, or favourite local Rodian motifs.
Setup & prep: We arrive early to prep the area with protective flooring and set up the canvas or wall structures.
The performance starts: As your guests arrive, the artist begins the first layers, sparking curiosity and conversation immediately.
Evolution of art: Throughout the event, the piece grows from a simple sketch into a vibrant, multi-layered work of art before people's eyes.
Audience interaction: The artist engages with the crowd, explaining techniques and maybe even letting a few guests try their hand.
The big reveal: We time the finishing touches to coincide with your event's peak, resulting in a stunning "final look" photo op.
Post-event wrap: We tidy up the space, leaving no mess behind—only a breathtaking custom artwork for you to keep.

Creative collaboration during a graffiti company outing

Local culture

Rhodes is a city where ancient history meets modern creativity. From the towering walls of the medieval Citadel to the sun-drenched streets of the New Town, there is inspiration around every corner. While the city is famous for its archaeological treasures, the contemporary art scene is buzzing, with local murals increasingly popping up to breathe new life into urban spaces. Performing live painting here feels special; the light of the Dodecanese makes every colour pop with incredible intensity.

Fun fact: Did you know that Rhodes was once home to the Colossus, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World? We like to think our live painting murals are the modern, colourful descendants of that grand artistic tradition!
