Is the graffiti workshop safe for participants with special needs?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority. We provide high performance, low pressure spray cans that are easier to handle, along with high quality masks, gloves, and protective suits. Our professional instructors in Monterrey are trained to supervise the session closely, ensuring everyone feels comfortable and secure while they explore their artistic side in a controlled environment.

Can the workshop be held at our own location in Monterrey?

We are all about flexibility! Our workshops in Monterrey can be held at various accessible outdoor locations or we can bring the entire setup to your specific facility. We use mobile plastic walls or large canvases, meaning we can create a pop up studio almost anywhere that suits your groups mobility and comfort requirements.

Do participants need previous art experience?

Not at all! This experience is designed for everyone, regardless of their artistic background. Our artists guide the group through simple techniques like making dots, lines, and filling in shapes. The goal is sensory engagement and self expression rather than technical perfection, so every participant can feel proud of what they create.

How long does a typical session last?

Our standard special needs sessions in Monterrey typically last between 90 minutes and 2 hours. We find this is the sweet spot for maintaining high energy and focus without causing fatigue. However, we can easily adjust the duration to include more breaks or a slower pace depending on the specific needs of your group.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything you need to get started! This includes a wide range of colourful spray paints, protective gear like ponchos and gloves, and the surfaces to paint on. We also bring inspiration boards and sketches to help spark ideas. Participants just need to wear comfortable clothes and shoes they do not mind getting a bit of dust on.

What is the ideal group size for this program?

We suggest a minimum of 5 to 10 people to get a good atmosphere going, but we can accommodate much larger groups by bringing in additional professional artists. By having extra instructors on hand, we ensure that every individual receives the personal attention and encouragement they need to have a fantastic time.

Local culture

Monterrey is a city that pulsates with industrial energy and stunning mountain backdrops, and its street art scene is just as bold. From the colourful murals in Barrio Antiguo to the urban displays near the Santa Lucia riverwalk, the city uses art to tell its story. Our workshops tap into this local "Regio" spirit, offering a way for everyone to contribute to the city's creative landscape. We love bringing the energy of the Cerro de la Silla into our sessions, inspiring participants with the same grit and beauty found throughout Nuevo Leon. ⛰️

Fun fact: Did you know Monterrey is home to some of the largest street art festivals in Northern Mexico? The city treats its walls like a massive open air gallery!
