Is the spray paint safe for participants with sensitivities?

Absolutely! We use high-quality spray paints that are low-odour and eco-friendly wherever possible. We also provide full protective gear, including masks, gloves, and overalls. Our Sunyani instructors are trained to monitor the environment constantly, ensuring everyone stays safe while they express their inner artist. We prioritise a comfortable, well-ventilated space for every session.

Do participants need prior artistic experience?

Not at all. We believe street art is for everyone, regardless of physical or cognitive ability. Our workshops in Sunyani are designed to be inclusive, with adjustable easels and techniques that don't require fine motor skills. Whether someone wants to paint a massive mural or a small canvas, we adapt the process to fit their unique strengths and comfort level.

How long does a typical workshop last?

Standard sessions usually last between 1.5 to 3 hours. However, we know that flexibility is key for special needs groups. If your group in Sunyani needs shorter bursts of activity with more frequent breaks, we can easily customise the schedule. We work at a pace that keeps the energy high without causing overstimulation or fatigue for the participants.

What is the maximum group size for a special needs workshop?

We generally suggest a ratio of one artist to every 10–12 participants to ensure everyone gets enough attention. For groups with more complex needs, we can increase the number of instructors. We also welcome carers and support staff to jump in and help! We’ll discuss your specific group size when you request your quote to ensure the perfect setup.

Can you host the workshop at our own facility in Sunyani?

We are fully mobile! While we have partner locations, we often bring the graffiti workshop directly to your facility, school, or community centre in Sunyani. As long as there is a well-ventilated outdoor area or a high-ceilinged indoor space with permission to paint, we can set up our 'mobile studio' almost anywhere. This helps keep participants in a familiar, comfortable environment.

What materials are included in the workshop?

We provide everything! This includes premium spray cans in a rainbow of colours, protective clothing (overalls/gloves), professional respiratory masks, and the "canvases"—which could be large plastic sheets, wooden boards, or even a permanent wall. You just need to bring your enthusiasm and wear clothes you don't mind getting a little bit of dust on. We handle the setup and the cleanup.
