Do I need any previous graffiti experience to join?

No prior graffiti experience is required to join our Jaipur Art Teacher Training. We designed this course to take you from the absolute basics of spray can control to mastering complex murals. Whether you are a traditional painter or have never touched a can of paint, our professional artists will guide you through every technique step-by-step. It's all about expanding your personal artistic toolkit!

What safety gear is provided during the training?

Safety is our top priority. We provide high-quality respiratory masks, gloves, and protective suits for all participants. During the training, we also teach you how to set up a safe workshop environment for your future students, including ventilation requirements and proper handle-and-storage protocols for aerosol cans. You'll leave the session feeling confident in managing a classroom-safe graffiti environment.

Will I receive a certification after the workshop?

Absolutely! Upon successful completion of the Graffitifun Teacher Training program, you will receive a certificate of completion. This document serves as proof of your specialized professional development in street art education and can be a fantastic addition to your teaching portfolio or CV, helping you stand out in the competitive Jaipur education market.

Does the training cover classroom management or just art?

The training covers both. While we spend significant time on the 'hands-on' aspect—like cap styles, fading, and outlining—we also provide a curriculum framework. You'll learn how to structure a 2-hour workshop, how to teach the history of street art, and how to manage different age groups, from energetic primary schoolers to focused secondary students.

What should I wear to the training session?

We suggest wearing comfortable clothes and shoes that you don't mind getting a little paint on. While we provide full-body protective suits, spray paint can be unpredictable! Closed-toe shoes are a must. Since Jaipur can get quite warm, our outdoor sessions are usually held in shaded areas, but breathable cotton clothing is always a good choice for staying cool while you work.

How long does the training session last?

Our standard Art Teacher Training sessions in Jaipur typically last between 3 to 5 hours. This intensive format ensures we cover the history of graffiti, technical spray skills, and the pedagogical side of hosting your own workshops. If you have a large group of teachers from one school, we can also spread the training over two days for a more deep-dive experience.

Are the sessions hands-on or just lectures?

Yes, they are! We believe that the best way to learn is by doing. You won't just be watching a demo; you will be actively sketching, spraying, and collaborating on a large-scale mural. This hands-on experience is vital so that you can anticipate the challenges your students might face and learn how to guide them through the creative process effectively.
